Due to high energy and gas prices, we can take the size of the pan for boiling egg according to the number of eggs, and cover the pan when turning on the cooker knob. And as soon as the water starts boiling switch the gas off and leave the egg covered for 7 to 10 minutes or according to how hard or soft boiled eggs you prefer.

So here's the thing, I CANNOT clean tin fish, my hands are too huge and my fingers are nowhere near nimble, I end up decimating the fish so...I use middle cut, I prefer the texture and the flavour. This is exactly how proper tin fish curry is made, it must be HOT with some boss soft porridge or mielie meal roti. I so enjoyed watching this method because of that mysterious fruit called a tamarind...for tamarind haters stop reading as I adore tamarind, its a taste elevation. Fish without tamarind is like a Halley without the Berry or Brittney without the Spear..one cannot do without the other, that sour dark mysterious taste explosion is more like an erupting volcano on the pallet. I remember my grandad insisting on taking tin fish curry when we went fishing. It just tasted SO much better in that environment between the screaming and baiting. This is a beautiful dish and Sol has executed with precision..a must try and a definite 👍.
@PerimasKitchen2 жыл бұрын
😅😂 Yes I enjoy middlecut too! Yes tamarind is everything & more, I should have added more 😋 I was going to make mealie rice but love it with Kali too- I was so hungry I forgot to even take off my apron 😅😂. I need to upload my quick fix beach Sandwichfaction. I made a short form video but def should do the long one too. Takes me back to the beach too 🏖 …not sure if it’s the scenery or the ocean breeze but it always tastes over tops at the beach. 🔥🌶💫♥️
