Tinkering with the Revell '57 Country Squire and remembering Donn Yost

Don yost you will be missed by thousands and thousands of model car builders around the world if not maybe a few million lol. You inspired me to get back into the hobby as an adult. I went through addiction and been in recovery from opiates pain meds I was prescribed and his videos and DVDs helped get me through the worst time of my life and darkest times of my life for the last 4 years since I got back in the hobby. Don yost was amazing at what he did and when you see his cars in person on the tables you know it's his cause how nice the paint is.

Hey man, appreciate your tribute to "The Old Man". I didn't know him personally either, but learned an immense amount of information & tips to help me in this hobby! And as for having a ways to go, brother we're all in that boat. Keep on building, painting, cutting that styrene, and gluing those fingers together. You'll get there? It's all about having fun and creating what we see in our minds, that counts! If you strive for better, you WILL get better! Thanks again for this really cool video brother...✌

Nice video, I didn't know of his passing until now. Condolences to his immediate family, then also to the secondary family, the modeling community. While I didn't follow his video series, I DO know that he was always about trying to help others learn by sharing his knowledge.

R.I.P. Donn although I never met him in real life we did email each other occasionally as I ran a little website about 14 year's ago and asked Donn if I could sell his DVD's he said of course and sent me some almost straight away and kept in contact via email condolences to his family😢😢

Never met Don unfortunately but it's obvious he was a great guy. Grab the inside half of the Ranchero tailgate to cover up those mold release circles. Thickness is more accurate anyway.
