Great work. It looks amazing and I love the versatility it has.

This is a great looking project. Kudos. When I went back searching for more videos on this project, I noticed that you mostly show your finished (or half finished) work. However, I would much rather see how you actually built this. The materials used, how you cut, saw and glue it and finally how you paint it.

Already subbed and eagerly awaiting those tutorials! :) The last one was great. Still, it would be great to see you work on your projects. Perhaps you can put down a camera every once in a while. You can speed up those vids and slow them down to normal speed when something important happens.

Incredible work! Where does that hexagonal grating come from?

I built a template for each piece and then used a table router with a pattern bit. Then I sized each panel on a table saw. If you don't go about it correctly it can be very dangerous working with such small pieces. It was also very time consuming. In the future I plan to use a laser cutting service if I ever build something like this again. I would recommend this solution to everyone else.

I plan to let the camera run on my future builds, then pull together a "speed build" and add links to video tutorials for each step so you can pause and get details when you want. Thanks for the sub and the feedback!

The terrain tutorials I am working on now will detail the methods I used to paint this. Please subscribe so you don't miss out when I posted the painting videos.
