@@tinmanssaws hello is the meteor piston good for the 372 xp oe saw? Can a 1-ring Meteor piston be attached to a 372 xp saw where there are 2 Epa Mahle rings? Of course, one group of 1.5 mm rings. Is the Caber ring included with the Meteor piston or do you need to buy it separately?

Why do pull out the starter rope a little bit after killing the engine? I noticed you do this often. Just curious...
@davediesel90
@davediesel90 7 ай бұрын
When the engine stops it kicks back on the starter and can damage it, pulling out the rope gives it the slack required to counter that. Its mostly on old saws though

I’m curious as to why you pull the cord out while hitting the kill switch? I noticed it a few times.
@tadghmaw7013
@tadghmaw7013 2 жыл бұрын
Engine recoils (pulls back on) the rope when shutting off which can damage it over time and may then snap. Pulling out the cord means that there is slack for the recoil to take up 👍

Tin Man this is Dave from Tennessee. I love your Channel and watch you and Billy Ray every night. I really like the way you modify your power saws. Could you possibly put a saw together for me? I ask Billy Ray but I think he took it the wrong way or something. I would like a 36" bar on a strong saw. I'm 5'7" in height. I saw where you use a long bar to keep from bending over. I had 2 neck and one back surgery so I think the long bar would be good! Thanks friends.
