For those blaming Kemi for choosing UK over Nigeria at least this is key to a very obvious and wide reason as to why she made that good choice of representing UK where her voice will not be silenced and her life be taken by. She knows what she carried and people like her in the lights of Dele Giwa and the rest were killed for standing for the truth. Adeola also made the right choice to do her job from the US, if she is based in Nigeria they for don go after her by all means. Wise choice brilliant decisions!

I so much love you, Aunty Deola. This topic you touched on really hit me. Nigeria is a dream killing country. A lot of talents have and will still go to the grave without being known at all. I am a living victim of a corrupt sports system. The only thing that grows in Nigeria is seed planted on soil, and that's because it's not under government control. I used to dream of becoming a professional football player. I became so good that I understood the role of every position on the field and could play anywhere, including goalkeeping. A lot of people who knew me back then always curse the country, cos the feel the country let me down. I tried all my best to reach the top, but corruption won't let me. I could recall my days at the National U-17, U-20, how the coaches loved me but couldn't help me because I didn't have 3ml Naira as requested then. Of cause I couldn't afford it and my widowed mother definitely couldn't raise such ammount money.

Kenya and South Africa have not gone to Olympics without winning a gold medal in recent times so their people will naturally always welcome them well. The planning and attention to details in Nigeria is next to zero, there is no competence, planning or accountability in public service which is why in the next Olympics we will still go there and mess up. It's important to communicate the truth in a polite manner that does not jeopardize the country's reputation abroad. Many people fail to recognize that Nigeria's image largely depends on how the narratives about our situation are presented. While there are countries facing even greater challenges, this does not stop others from analyzing our issues systematically and proposing solutions without disrespecting the elders. It’s crucial to frame our discussions in a way that everyone can understand the message without damaging relationships. You are doing a good job in the way you present your messages. You are a true bearer of the soul, showing that you are Yoruba and a mother who loves to build a better future.

When are we going to get ourselves together? It's good to celebrate AJ, but can we also use it to improve/overhaul the sports world in Nigeria? Nigerians compete on a global level when it comes to sports. We are not short of athletes, but we all know why most athletes choose to take their talents and develop/sharpen them outside the country. Can you imagine being disqualified for the Olympics BEFORE participating because of 'administrative error'? Why would anyone in their right mind want to go through that experience?
