Your apartment is really cool. I don't know about others but it was totally my style. A big window with a nice view of the city, luminous, wooden floor, nice bathroom, cute kitchen place and even a workspace near the bed. I really love how simple, neat and comfortable it looks. Just gives me a great vibe to it and maybe it is totally worth 800$ per month (but that depends on your budget 😂). I enjoyed so much this video, keep working hard and I hope you'll become a great KZbin content creator very soon. 😊

If you clean out that first closet by the door you can store all that stuff cluttering your genkan and make for a more pleasant entry/exit when you come and go. The tall shelf in the hallway also blocks light and flow and might work better along the short wall to the left of the sink if it doesn't stick out too much. Everything else looks great. If your bedframe has storage too id try to utilize that as well 👍

This is amazing! I once had an apartment in NY for $600 which was 1/2 of a converted garage and I could touch my fridge from my bed and that was my better apartment 😅 Thank you for sharing your good sense of humor and bringing many smiles to my day 😊💖

@@heyjeySigma 😂 Actually the apartment before that was a split windowless basement apt. and on the other side of the thin wall were two Doberman who smelled horrible and the humidity made it worse. That was prison. The landlords in the garage convert were good people who made sure my mail was dry and their daughter unknowingly serenaded me with beautiful piano music every time she practiced 😁 They were also very generous with the heat which makes all the difference on the east coast 🥶☃️🌨

I'm glad key deposit was mentioned because a lot of Korean apartment tours leave this fact out, so creators bait views with "I only pay $400 to live in central Seoul!" but neglect to mention they paid an insane key deposit equal to the price of buying a small house to get that low monthly rent.

@@atkim122 YES! That's what got me at first but I just knew there was a catch to it then I found out that people were paying an insane amount to rent out apartments. Imagine taking out a bank loan for an apartment, that's ridiculous. I can't complain too much living in the States, I still feel a way about the "make more than 3x monthly rent" thing going on here

@@GloBear801 Idk how much things changed but if I'm right apartment system in Korea isn't usually based on rent. You'd pay a big sum of money to live for say 1-3 years and when the contract ends, the apartment owners have to pay you back the same amount. I think they're slowly converting to a rent system tho because of low interest rates, which doesn't work well with the old system. Def a great system for ppl who have the money but for those who don't have a large sum it would be hard to even get a house, considering the population and KR's size.

@Jimmy Kim I think a lot of American employers only provide cheap, one ply toilet paper to discourage going #2 on the job. Same thing with American restroom stalls having spaces between the stall doors, and people can look in and see you. The idea is that if they provide less privacy, you will be more inclined to shit at your own home rather than at work or in public. Public defecation is kind of frowned upon in a lot of regions of the country since a lot of public restrooms are not equipped with the proper ventilation, and many people feel like the smell is offensive and that it's bad manners to go in public. I've seen many times where people walk into a public restroom, and if someone is already in there shitting, they turn right back around and walk out. No one wants to smell anyone else's shit. We need better privacy in stalls and better ventilation in American public restrooms.
