I really liked this video. It's nice to see someone with a setup that normal human beings can achieve. A lot of channels have videos with TV's that cost more than your entire setup. In my opinion, it's kind of pointless to watch those because I'd have to save like 1/3 of my yearly salary for 5 years to afford it.

This is a more feasible realistic home theatre video I've seen so far, so THANK YOU for posting your video, it's not always about a dedicated home theatre room, it's more naturally realistic having your home theater in conjunction with your living room! If you click on the red dragon twice you shall see that I wasn't as forthcoming as you, I would have thought the curtains would have been good enough with such a small room for dampening down the sound! would appreciate a honest answer if the acoustic panels made a difference?

I've just measured my room. It measures 10.5 by 7 foot. It's small but I love it. My tv cost £1,300 65" samsung qled, lazy boy recliner, cost £1,400 or less (can't remember) a second bookshelf £20, second hand tv unit £30, cheap Yamaha receiver £300, wharfdale front and rear speakers £200 second hand wharfedale centre speaker £50. It doesn't have to cost £10,000 to £50,000 to have a room you're happy with.

Wow!! Great video. 👍🏼 (1.) I’m gonna convert a portion of my 2 car garage that is attached to the house. I’m thinking 12x12 to make it look like your room and use the rest for storage. Or (2.) Buy a 10x14 Tuff Shed and do some insulating and a wall unit a/c. With dual SVS PB-1000 Pro, Prime Towers, Prime center channel and Prime Elevations speaker and a 7.2.2 Yamaha receiver. My wife and kids don’t like my system in the house. 😵‍💫🥴😁🤣🤣🔊🔊

Love this idea so much!! I love budget home theater setups! But the simple fact that I saw the way the bed came out and made the room full, but put up was still so spacious yet simply stylish you totally helped me right now in the search or furniture shopping and room set up.

I actually have this exact same surround system and the sound was very underwhelming at times. It's ok, but it lacks bass. Listening to music is meh, but for movies it works. Is it just because it's low budget?

Actually the thx 40degree viewing angle is for 1080p tvs. For 4k u gotta go even closer like 50 degree ...

Very Nice. I had a similar set up a few years ago but instead of a sofa bed I had a matress that I would move into the hall and then put down on the floor at night. Loved having that surround sound though :) - I'm setting up a small room again now for my surround sound and I like the idea of the acoustic tiles, I'm going to look into this.

Great use of small space … as per THX specifications. Most of us don’t follow this rule and end up with theater with mismatched equipment!

Hey you and I have such a similar choice! I have a similarly small bedroom. I too have a sony 1000xm3 in beige, an xbox one x in white which I too use the xms connected to the controller because I don’t have a good sound system in my room which is why I came to your video. I have a 55in LG OLED with dolby atmos support through EARC hdmi, and I was considering the bose 900 soundbar but as it seemed like an over kill, I was looking for alternate atmos solutions but for it to work properly, you really do need a properly big room, and so I dropped the atmos all together and now I am only looking for something that’s gonna be better than the tv speakers. P.S I also have the same coffee table from Ikea but in white!

My room is 11x10 with a 77 inch OLED CX. My sound is SONOS 5.2 system. OLED and Sonos arc are wall mounted. Rear S1’s are behind listening position loveseat

Nah, you can adjust the distance to your ear in the amp and it automatically adjusts the sound.
