I don't see any weight on your line. What lb line where you using, mono or floro, did you tie on a leader? Size hook and kind of hook and if you had a weight. Also, what kind of rod is that you are using. Appreciate you sharing

Any tips on the weather? Should the water be low vis and what about tide? Nice vid btw
@ShinkiZer04 жыл бұрын
A newbie in fishing that its a Good signs to fish based on couple months of fishing. Sudden drop in barometric pressure, clearer water is good for some species but i still get some fish in milky and weed infested water. End or start of out going or incoming tide as long theres moving water. If you see birds diving around an area. Water temp is important to some species. Presentation is very important be it live or artificial, make it look as natural as possible.
@benedicthenriksson81604 жыл бұрын
I know all that stuff i just wonder if its better or not at the pier. For instance, tide; I was wondering if there was a specific tide because usually you have to have the right one at the right area of the pier(structure). Ya know, where the water changes flow due to the structure. Eh, probably won't matter though. I just need to fish more then lol. Thank you very much though for helping me out!👍 Tight lines!
@ShinkiZer04 жыл бұрын
@@benedicthenriksson8160 btw im refering to myself as new to this land based fishing hobby its very fun and relaxing. Heres also what i learn and from locals. tbh as long theres moving water be it outgoing or incoming i get more bites on slack tide thats when it slows or shut down. The best spot in pier if its possible is you can switch sides so you can fish both incoming or out going tide so you can fish both ends/side of the the structures. If the current is too strong, look for a structure or pilling where theres swirling or calm water behind it, toss your line there. You dont have to go at the very end of the pier predatory fish are by the shore lines as well. You dont have to cast far fish loves structures caught my biggest fish just under my feet. Tbh its more of like a season or migratory pattern if you target some fish but some fish are natives to us thats why FL is one of the best fisheries, i just wish we have a bit bigger flounders in our area idk why but i love catching those lol. But yea just go out there and wet some line! Have fun and goodluck!
