Enjoyed your video 👌I rode my Honda dax to glencoe in Scotland in October.. I was so excited to reach glencoe.. Did 930 miles in total... 26 fuel stops because of the 2litre fuel tank lol

On my last chaly trip I lost the timetable too, bad weather, dirt road and poor visibility. I learned more, then I installed an Auvxiar LED headlight on the side of the bike and changed the original 5v wiring to 12v

Ive just came across ya channel. Searching "long distance 125cc motorbike" will do it. But, Ive done the same first leg but almost backwards. I started on Okehampton [top of devon] then lizard point and Isle of white a few years ago as a new bike rider. I filmed it all but have never sat down and edited it. Probably never will do cos its a mammoth task. Have chinese 125 [lexmoto zsb - only bike that was cheap and in stock during lockdown] as a first bike - will travel! I've now got a Triumph TigerAnd gone up and down on the country on it. But, recently I've got head gasket issues so, Im looking at the old 125 and thinking about doing the NC500 on it. NC500-125 styleee. Just for the goofs. I mean, i did 400 and some miles on it in one day, with a very numb arse, I mieh add, how hard can it be?? Im a Geordie that used to live at the top of Devon [Okehampton] but now live in the Lake District simply cos its lovely to pop out on the Tiger...well it was untill the head gasket... Hello 125. Lets go on a trip! Mind I would be hammering out it in one go. My fat arse couldnt take it :P Not without the same inflatable seat cusion you had - which I had when my 125. Anyways. You seem like a top man. Same daft shit I'm down for. Granted i probably wouldnt have done it with an open face helmet. No way! Also, that ferry, the king harry ferrry?! that hill was super sketchy when I done it on my overloaded 125 - the steep bank.

Many thoughts come to mind. 1. 10 hours on the west coast = 300 miles, 10 hours on the east coast = 400 miles. 2. South west coast is the hardest because of the undulations. 3. Grab an oil and break disc change if you can half way through the trip. 4. When the sun breaks out you'll be swallowing a kilo of insects on the road. Extra protein. 5. As you head north, watch out for goats, sheep, pheasants on the road. Pheasants are bastards in Scotland. 6. You were lucky the Cowes ferry allowed you onboard with that much fuel in jerry cans. Lymington would have been a more pleasant start. 7. Asprin a day might help with aches and pains and blood circulation to the undercarriage. 8. If you see a sexy hitchhiker at the side of the road, offer her a ride. 9. From here on the locals might not understand your accent until you reach Essex. 10. Keep your bog roll dry. Soggy bog roll is the worst.

Appreciate your content and effort , there are ways of clearing up your riding audio, voice isolation , does your video editing software of choice have it? Only just found this, what a fantastic journey and a great charity. So few questions are you using a and B roads only ? Do you have a full bike licence ? What mods did you do to the bike ? And why only a 125cc moped ? Could you not stop at petrol garages rather than carry the fuel ?

Cheers dude, yes only A and B roads, I have a full license, bigger front sprocket and racks, 125cc tiny bike to make it a challenge. Carried fuel as only 3 5l tank do would be constantly looking for garages, with extra tanks I had over 300 miles to hand

I dont see a big deal to take long road trips on 125 bikes. Cyclists do it on push bikes everyday. I never understood bikers attitudes "oh it's ok for nipping to the shops but nothing else" haha losers
