The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is a 2017 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U consoles. Breath of the Wild is part of the Legend of Zelda franchise and is set at the end of the Zelda timeline; the player controls Link, who awakens from a hundred-year slumber to defeat Calamity Ganon and save the kingdom of Hyrule.

It’s crazy to me that this music works… it could’ve easily been goofy and kinda dumb with the tuba bits, but it somehow works and sounds fun, nostalgic and relaxing. So much about these games shouldn’t have worked, but so many risks payed off!

I just came from watching the Elden Ring one and now this, what an amazing work I wonder if the load of the game is harder or lighter this way with the draw distance. Now I want a game like this, I believe the closest thing is Tunic

I've been in love with Hyrule and its inhabitants since the 80's; but even moreso since The Windwaker, The Minnish Cap, Skyward Sword, and Breath of the Wild 1 & 2. I always wished I was an immortal adventurer witnessing the shifts and changes throughout the ages. I'd live a simple life. And when I get bored enough, I'd go on a grand adventure, and bring back fabled treasure, and accounts of my experiences

What is Tilt Shift and how does it work/do what it does?

This is a bit late, but as a quick explanation: when objects are small and you're recording them with normal lenses the plane of focus is really shallow and objects both close to and away from the camera are blurred. Because we're used to seeing this effect primarily in dioramas, when you force that same style of blurring in a game it makes the game feel like a set of dioramas. Tilt-shift photography is also popular in fields like architectural photography, but it requires very specific lenses.

There are a lot of green areas in the center and east of the map but it's a huge ass map and the rest is incredibly diverse.

Yeah. Pretty much every Zelda game ever has had a grass land area, a fiery volcano mountainous area, a water area, a desert and BotW added some snowy mountain areas and some ocean areas as well. You should play the game! It's my favorite game of all time. So good.

Most games are diverse as hell It simply looks like greenery since it's on eye level. Like how our planet looks far cooler from the sky or even slightly above ground level.
