@@marsgitar Mister Scherer I know that everyone asks questions and that can be tiring for you, but i would like to ask your expertise on something. i started using sylmasta cold glaze pro and i mix in 1:4 volume plus 25% thinner in volume for air brush. For some reason the glaze comes out the airbrush like spider web. Is it because i haven't used a lot thinner?. Thanks also can i use the leftovers of my mixed glaze? like 1 or 2 our afterwards? sorry to bother you thanks. Big respects from Greece Maestro!

@@bakounadamagiki5887 That 1:4 mix is for brush application. For airbrush application the solvent ratio should be equal to the resin-to-hardener mix. In other words. If your resin/hardener mix total equals 2 grams, you should add 2 grams of thinner for airbrush application. Don't apply too heavily or you'll get runs. Better to do several thin coats rather than one thick one. The cold glaze mix has a pot life of about an hour depending on ambient air temperature. So you have about an hour before it starts to go bad. Good luck to you!

Hi Martin, I wanted to know if I could use a heat gun since I dont have a hot box. Also, I notice that you used A&B putty to reproduce the missing legs on the horses. Is A&B better to make missing parts than Milliput. Thank you for your help.

Your videos are so incredibly helpful. I’m just starting my journey into restoring vintage and antique porcelain and ceramic figurines. I’m so happy to have found your channel since I don’t have a mentor in my town. Thank you so much.

Hi! I have been doing this kind of restoration for over 40 years. I'am going to look up the Hxtal, I find it fascinating how it makes cracks disappear. I also bought myself a set files, I have always used sand paper. I did a "herd" of creamer cows once, very similar to what you had to do. It would be nice to hear what you charge for some of these repairs, I know I don't charge enough.

Sorry, I don't talk about pricing. I've been making these videos for almost 10yrs., so those numbers quickly become meaningless. I've been raising my prices almost every year. Besides, I think I undercharged for the work on these horses anyway.
