Handy little unit, James. I use the Razer Tartarusv2 gaming keypad to control my drawing tablet so I definitely understand the benefits of extra keys. If that's all you need, that's quite the bargain. Mine has a lot more programmable keys but I paid a lot more for it. The time these things can save makes a huge difference to the workflow. I've been pretty ill and have been focusing on website stuff, but I will be back in action soon. Hope you and the family are doing well. Take care mate. Jon.

I'm sure I will slowly upgrade it over time. I'd like to make my own from scratch and maybe make it wireless that way it will be so much more useful to me. There's always a future project lol. I'm really sorry to hear about you're not feeling well. don't forget I'm always about so send me a message. Hope you're doing fantastic and I look forward to hearing from you soon

I have the same kb. Went here to see if you got some tutorial/insight on the RGB lights. Can't figure out how to change colors etc.

The colours can be changed from within the program/app I reviewed in my video. I just hadn't noticed it until after I had released the video

@@TheOffGridFamily You mean the LED_Mode0/1/2 ? That's just on, off and weird flickering. I mean changing to any color I want on every key. I don't see you do that.
@TheOffGridFamily4 ай бұрын
@ilaphroaig no you don't have the option to change each. I think there is only 3 colour options if I remember. It's very limited.

Perfect for my partner working from home when she needs to answer ip phone calls

There are ones with a lot more buttons and dials which I would say to go for it means that then she's got volume control and mute and then other buttons if needed. I was genuinely surprised how useful it's already been. I meant to mention in the video but I used it to edit the video. It cut down a decent amount of time. Being able to zoom in and out of the timeline and ripple deleting things etc. I think there's a way of making the buttons do multiple actions by pressing more than one button but I've not got that far yet. If the software doesn't allow it then I may just make it myself.

A bit of a specific question; Is the knob a rotary encoder or a potentiometer?
@TheOffGridFamily3 ай бұрын
I believe it's a rotary encoder. I'm not at home at the moment so can't check but I believe that's correct

@@TheOffGridFamily Thanks for the quick response! I wanted to make sure because I intend to use it as a jog wheel for video editing. If it spins past 360' and has a faint notched feedback its an encoder, which is what im looking for.
@TheOffGridFamily3 ай бұрын
@@S0K0N0MI I actually use mine for video editing. And yes 100% it is not a potentiometer. I just checked 🙂

I tried to follow your video but no matter what I do the software always says NOT CONNECTED
