That’s the spot! Pretty decent spot tbh for micro fishing at least

Winter months mean slower bites. Looks too good to call a bust, I recommend coming back in April or May. Twin Creek has several good holes. Even the shallows produce smallies.

I actually thought about coming back around that time frame and doing a sorta micro/light tackle challenge. That’s funny you mention Twin Creek though, I was just talking to one of my customers about that & planning on getting out there sometime!

Holes creek is good to catch some bait. 😅I’ve caught some nice bass there also.

Yeah I was thinking of making a second video on it, cause it’s better than I originally thought!

Thanks for this review. I had Holes on my list, but I guess it's not worth exploring. I'm wondering about Crain's Run and the confluence of the Mad River and Miami. I have family in Dayton, near Holes, so it's always fun to do exploring when I visit. Also, the guys at the tackle shop recommended the Miam around the Middletown area.

That’s awesome man, where are you located? We could always meet up & go explore one of those places. I haven’t heard of Crain’s Run so I’ll have to check that out, but I’ve actually been planning on going down the the Mad River/Miami confluence area. That looks like such a great spot for smallies & possibly some striper!

@@HookedOnBassin My mom's in Centerville. Last summer I caught a nice carp with one of my kids out of Eastwood Lake and got skunked at the GMR downtown. Grew up in Bellbrook fishing Spring Lakes (pond).

Ahhhh man you just didn’t hit the timing right here.. they are in there believe me. I found you on FB and sent you a request. Just wait until I put you on the hellgrammite bite… I hope you got some wading shoes and a spinning rod because as soon as you are ready I’m going show you a real nice time 😂

Ironically I just got some waders recently lol but yeah I’ve messed around in this creek a little more & I need to make another video cause they’re in there no doubt!!
