I think this opener is funny, because whenever i was playing dota i never actually felt like i was being stomped, granted i was in loq mmr of course, but in league you very quickly hit the point of pointlessness when it comes to how quickly the game ends in a dead end. I mean in bronze in league you basically loose the moment an enemy that halfway knows what they are doig is capable of roaming, where in dota there is a lot more mapplay and teamplay that can bring a game back.

Give up button ✅ if it is a thing in pro games should be a thing in pubs. It's 52/7 and they are farming you at fountain. You don't move so you don't get farmed and you get kicked and get penalty.... Then they wonder why people quit and move to league

Pro games have an option to concede because all 10 players understand when the game ends and they will not choke. Pubs will just spam concede and afk in fountain untill you agree. It's a problem already and as waga said, it would only get worse

Pros are also not allowed to have any other app than dota running essentially, no music, no browsers etc. I think pubs and tournaments are different functionally, a team of players who are all dedicated to eachother as one unit will be more likely to agree about when to surrender, especially when competing for monetary gain. A random mix of pub players who dont know eachother and have nothing (except perhaps 25~ mmr) to play for will not have the same cohesion or incentive to try until the end.
