Hey Stu, can you do another speed test, I reckon you could top 100mph if you took the go pro mount off, this will surely reduce the drag?
@tomhawk34246 жыл бұрын
Hey Stu, can you recommend some other 1506 that would fit for this setup just as well as those that you have been reviewing? Cheers!

@dukejet69976 жыл бұрын
Well done guys,,, BUT was a rookie move going out with a loose vtx antenna Stu. You knew it was loose from your "bench breakdown" video. And trying to do a speed test with the bloody great gopro mount on the poor little bugger was not fair.....
@Gosuminer6 жыл бұрын
Came here to write exactly that. This camera mount produces a lot of drag for such a small model and the faster you go the more it distorts the measurement. Without the camera mount and with some higher pitched props this one could easily reach three-digit speeds. Securing a U.FL connector can be tricky. Hot glue can be a mess, especially with a VTX that gets as hot as this one. I wish manufacturers would provide holes in the PCB next to the connector so you can zip tie the connector down. Or just go with MMCX which is generally recognized as the superior solution.

Duke Jet yep, moved to mobile to write exactly the same about the GoPro mount, WTF! And it’s not the first time either! Like drag is non-existent in UAVF’s world 😝

Love the work Stew!!! Attention The latest space wolf being shipped is totally different, can you re-review?Seems to have different motors 1407 3600kv, different VTX, different camera with concave lense not sure what the stack is now???RC escapes did a quick review on the new one.Why does gearbest send out good things to be reviewed then change them for every one else? Love your Chanel mate,I am a central coast flyer
@gh754326 жыл бұрын
It would be nice if you would talk about flight times a bit more when you review quads. IE: This quad flew for x mins when we used a x type / size battery. I realize it varies by battery / pilot, but even a generalized number would be very helpful.

Hi, so I am starting to get into fpv and I bought a eachine wizard x220s a Taranis Qx7. The receiver I bought was a Frsky X4R-SB. I soldered the receiver to the flight controller and when I plugged it into beta flight it was receiving a signal but then I some how ended up frying the fc. I ordered the same flight controller off amazon and re soldered everything including the receiver and I got no signal. I even bridged the bad where it says sbus to the middle pad like was done on the other fc and I get no signal from the receiver. Do u think I fried the receiver too? The light still comes on on the receiver but no signal what am I doing wrong? Thanks

Won't you have cooked the VTx trying to transmit with no antenna?
@UAVfutures6 жыл бұрын
turns out it was fine haha
@wickedreelz50286 жыл бұрын
Yup some thermal paste and a heat sink on the vtx and you will notice FAR more longtivity out of them and less chance of cooking it when you crash and pop an antenna off.. It's a must do as he said, thermal paste is important in between the vtx and heat sink tho it will more it far more efficient at heat transfer.
@jakegarrett81096 жыл бұрын
I think usually, however, I sheared off an antenna last flight on a 600mW, and even though it took 3 minutes to retrieve it, its still working fine. Some might have protection like just enough resistance in a dummy load to not blow up, however I'm really surprised, because that 600mW will pretty well burn you after a minute if you don't have the props running.

What I hate about gearbest is that they send out nice setups to reviewers and in the meanwhile change the specs for any aditional batches (remember the gt200 motor change or the x215 fc change) So after a positive review they change the good bits for cheap crap without telling you. Too bad in my opinion. Realy closely read the specs and compare to the review product!!! You habe been warned...
