This game really needs better instructions that come with the game or at least a link to a video in their instructions sheet. This game is very in-depth and hard to figure out on your own, it had me and my wife arguing about how to play pretty quickly. I think they need to increase the size of the game box for a more thorough set of instructions. I helped Kickstart this game and hope people don't give up on it so easily. I also ordered the Dungeon Mat because it seems to de-clutter everything. Thanks for this!

You're welcome. You are right, the rules are not super clear. There is a lot open to interpretation. I have been trying to keep up with the official FAQ post from Michael Coe but even that hasn't cleared up everything. It's easy for me to say as I play mostly solo, but just decide how you want to play and then go have fun. It's your game. Just make sure you enjoy it.

@@SpookyKrueger I started going through the tutorial but it was longer than I expected and I kept having to stop. When I would come back, I would have to start over. After three times through the first part I lost interest.

One thing I noticed - During setup, You need to pick the Minion dungeon cards randomly. They all have different number od corridors

Hi! I would really appreciate if you could tell me a bit about wood elf rogue's spell "shadow walk". I was reading the topic on bgg, but I still didn't get all the answers. 1. Can I use the spell once I enter a new room and encounter a goblin to escape it and use up to my remaining amount of movement or i can only use the spell before, to start the movement in my turn already with the spell on? 2. When I'm using the spell and I reveal new tiles with goblins I: - don't stop by them (unless I want to)? - I take 1 damage for each new goblin tile revealed, even though I didn't stop my movement? So if I discovered 5 goblin tiles, by using my full 5 movement, I would receive 5dmg, 1 for each of the tiles, right?

1. This is a tricky question that seems to be talked about a lot in the FAQ, but from my current understanding when you walk in to a room with a goblin that ends your normal movement, The rulebook says your movement ends for the turn. But from what i can tell with the online faq, you may be granted other movement actions which would allow you to move again. So a free action Potion that allows movement. Or using your heroic action to cast a spell like Shadow Walk, Invisibility, elemental charge after running in to the goblin is perfectly fine. And you will gain the full movement of that spell/potion ability, not just what you had left for your normal movement. So Yes, you can walk in to the goblin room, take a damage from the room tile, then cast shadow walk and leave that room. 2. Stealth allows you to ignore effects from tiles with monsters in it. So you would not take any damage for discovering tiles with goblins/minions in them. You would only need to stop temporarily at trap rooms to perform skill checks and then may continue your movement if you have any left .

I have question. I step on minion tile, attacked him without killing him. Counter dice was torch down. Torch went Down to activating enemies. But after my attack I end my turn and torch goes down. So should i activate enemies or not? And other question: can I attack enemies when my round start with knocked down Hero after I wake him?

If the enemy die moves the torch down then you need to resolve that effect immediately (in this case, the enemies would attack). Then at the end of your turn, move the torch down again and resolve the effect. If you begin a round with a knocked down hero, the only way they can attack that round is if someone revives them. If a hero stands up on his own, his only viable action after that is to move.

At 22:50 the manual says you can negate entering that room when you see that arch symbol when there is a goblin in there. (bottom of page 7)

The Manual is referring to using "Skills" to negate entering a room. Items like the Everlit Torch and the Eyes of the Viper, will allow you to flip undiscovered tiles which do not require you entering the room. The video is correct you must move in to the room.

Tiny Epic games have a tradition of bad to very bad manuals, and I actually skip them . Either learn from someone who has played the game, or from videos. Kudos on the video, 10 minutes in, I know i'll be recommending this to anyone learning the game :)

How do you kill the dragon with a team of 4? He nukes every other turn, all while goblins are still coming.

Not sure. I'm assuming they playtested at all player counts. I have not played at 4 yet.

Some constructive criticism: point the microphone to your mouth. Ppl should not have to turn their volume up to 100% in order to hear you.
