In the begining I was able to put the content of the deluxe expansions in the core box. That time is no more... 🤣

I find this really interesting. Somehow, previous Tiny Epic games were tailored to simplify and miniaturize specific existing genres. This appears to be the opposite of that, a combination of the Tiny Epic systems while still appealing to the general expectation of a Game of Thrones game.

I like the art clearly inspired by the visuals of the show without being still pictures. That and Dune: Imperium/Uprising will hopefully set a standard for movie/tv adaptation, that you can adapt that medium with good art...

yup. its worth noting that often it's not the license holder that insist that still from the movie or show or whatever are used. i'd bet usually the boardgame publisher WANT to do original art, they're just not allowed to!

I also am a huge fan of Tiny Epic Defenders, just played this past weekend! I'm very interested to see how this one works out. I was disappointed with Vikings, but have enjoyed the others in the series a lot.

I also love the final season! It was upsetting and bittersweet; but I think it was absolutely brilliant, and gave me SO much to think about. I think there were some very important real-world lessons there. Pretty much my favorite show ever. Definitely backing this one! Thanks

love the idea but the expansion wont fit into the corebox sadly. not tiny enough!😂 also... the miniatures clearly take up to much space. i'll replace 'em with meeples. still backed as your word is what i trust the most. i usually like the games you say you enjoy. 😊

if you left the minis out, i think you could fit the base game plus the co-op expansion in the base box :) and my word is just one of many... take a look at the runthrough itself to see if the game looks like fun!

Tiny epic games seem to be always much cheaper at retail and there are no ks exclusives. So will wait for retail instead

Same here! I had to process it for a bit to realize the absolute brilliance, so it wasn’t love at first viewing…but it was absolutely phenomenal. I haven’t found a show since that has hooked me as much as Game of Thrones (though Breaking Bad and Saul are also up there for me).

I didn't hate the ending. I loved Seasons 1-7 and Season 8 for me was, well, okay! 🙂 I never hated it, just I guess deflated at the time! I think my main problem is it was a bit rushed and they should have done the 10 seasons GRRM said it should have been, or at least take it to a 9th season (maybe end Season 8 with The Long Night). As for the ending and who's on the throne, if that final book ever exists, it'll be handled really well there I think!
