Your house is amazing! This tour is Great!! Nice office space! Every space is so well used!! Such a cute idea for a sleep space for your youngest! I love the shub! Several questions: Does the toy area have bug netting for when the doors are open? (I love the trapdoor idea!) Do your kitchen windows have similar window covers? (They’re beautiful, by the way.) Is the washer also a dryer? (I’m just curious.)

Hi @kathleenmoore3459, great questions that I have only just seen! No the toy doesn’t have bug screens but I would love to add them. Yea our kitchen window has the same coverings, all the windows do. And no it is just a washer. We hang washing on the line when it’s sunny and go to a laundromat when it’s not 👍🏻✨

Wow! My jar dropped when I saw the washing machine. This is one impressive bus!!! I've seen various RVs or travel vehicles with creative storage, fitting as many beds as possible, etc. but a full-size washing machine at the bottom storage space is definitely a first one for me! I don't think I would ever drive a big bus like this but this is one impressive house bus for sure :)

You have created a beautiful and cozy home for your family and I look forward to seeing more videos about your home and your adventures. It's clear that you put a lot of thought into the design and and organization of each area of the home. With a large family it the key to keeping ahead of the chaos that can quickly happen with a lot of people in a smaller space. I come from a family with 8 children. Once the eldest 3 were no longer at home the 5 youngest became a tight knit group that played together well and worked to help around the house to keep it going without most things falling on one person to do everything. We went camping each summer for anywhere from a week to a month and we started with a trailer that was a tent with a zip on extension and later a pop up trailer that slept 8. Was didn't cook inside of it because we had an amazing setup in the back of the family vehicle and under the canopies that were setup over the picnic table area of the campsite. Our parents had it organized and planned out so everything was easy to get when needed and put away when it wasn't needed or on travel days.

This is so awesome my husband and I had six children. They’re all grown now we had a set of twins identical twins so we had five girls and one boy, but he was in the military so we never really settle down and until all our kids were grown we traveled like every three years we would move, but I thought this would’ve been great back when they were a little I would love to have a bus like this.

This is one of the best bunk designs I’ve seen. Other van/bus life people kinda cramp their kids into what I like to call “shelves” but these bunk rooms look spacious and I saw kids on the top can actually sit up! I have never saw that on other buses. And that the kids have a secret trapdoor that they can read and relax in is super smart!! Over all I am excited to see your newest travels. Hello! Brave and crazy 🤪 🥰✨ I will say that living permanently in this lifestyle is different to a holiday as the kids are in their ‘normal’ beds and have their routines and things. One thing with camping with kids ( from experience) is that they are not sleeping in their normal beds in their normal routines which can contribute to the crazy 🤪 Fun times though for sure!

Coming from a Korean family and having to climb up the family tree up to my great great grandmother to find a family member who tried to have more than 4 children, I am amazed and frankly in awe to be living in the mid west here in the U.S where women my age have 4+ children at my age and getting married at 20. I hear Australian women have just as many children. It really sounds like something out of a movie seeing my contemporary peers have so many children😮 Most of my Korean friends and cousins are still unmarried in their 30s and the ones that are, only a handful have barely 1 child.. I am in awe how some can handle so many children👍 good for you👍 love your home❤

8 people and one composting toilet in one bathroom. The bus is really nice and well organized.

The wees goes in a seperate part ( there is a urine diverter as part of the toilet structure) and ours is plumbed down into our big grey water tank so that’s a nonissue. And then for our family 2 are in nappies so 6 people using the composting toilet and James empties it roughly 1x a week 👌🏻👍🏻

You have done a great job on the bus conversion. My parents lived in many different buses over a 20 year span that they built themselves in New Zealand and travelled both islands. A really well thought out design. Love everything about it. Maybe a roof vent/fan in the children's bedroom? Your lounge is great. Loads storage. SO sorry but master bedroom is too closed in for my tastes but im EXTREMELY claustrophobic. Loads storage tho. Your bathroom is brilliant. The bunk room is top notch. Your husband is a clever man making drawers from boxes what a brilliant idea. WHAT A TOP BUILT HOME ON WHEELS. Stay safe on your travels. 😊😊

Hey guys - gorgeous bus! Would be worthwhile verifying your diesel heater installation with the manufacturer, because by the looks of it any leakage around the exhaust outlet will be sucked straight into the habitation air inlet and pumped into your living space. In the UK we install them so that habitation air and combustion air never combine. I might be wrong of course

Hi there great comment and very insightful of you. The combustion exhaust is run to the opposite side of the bus to that of the habitation air inlet. Good to know we'd meet the UK standards... perhaps we need to plan to ship it over and do a UK road trip!🚢🚍
