Everything you need is where you’re at right now. There will come a time as you age that you will no longer be licensed or be able to drive a car. What ever you need can be delivered at your present home. You won’t have delivery at vacation property.. hopefully You’ll keep your beautiful home

Rusty you surely made the right call investing in a home in that community. From your walking video the area looks clean, tidy, harmonious, and most importantly peaceful.👍 May you enjoy living there.👍🙏

My mobile home age 55+ community in New Mexico was intentionally built in the 1980’s They are all flat on the ground, with a crawl space under, which eliminates the stairs outside. It has RV parking and a place to wash your car and RV and dump your RV. Quiet peaceful, gated and safe. Waiting list of 30 people to buy here.

Love this little house but my favorite was the first house you had at Fort Clark Springs. The big screened porch and the wilderness across the road made that spot magical.

Rusty, there is a screened filter in each air handler that needs periodic cleaning with vacuum, for efficiency. Love your tiny home set up. Perfect for one!

Nice setup, Rusty! A comfortable tiny home in town, with all the conveniences. And your pretty Zozo property for camping, unless/until you might decide to live out there full-time. You’ve done well for yourself, Rusty!🤗

I love it! You have good taste. I'm attracted to New Mexico, but the lack of water in the west is a problem. God bless you!

I don't know why you would even want to leave there. Use it as your home base and secure fall back place. Wander around and explore but have a concrete place to come back to. But I know "You do you". but it does appear to be a good back up plan.

I'm not of that golden age quite yet but I guess I couldn't take all my Blueberry, Rasberry, Elderberry bushes and all my fruit trees there lol 😂 now if that place had a huge backyard yeah may be doable lol I need a garden 😢😂 many of my no maintenance family members would love the no yard tho lol. Thank u for sharing this awesome place!❤

Rusty, I finally am moving to AZ and in a park model it has a covered patio, shed and you own the land! it is only $325/mo incl. water/sewer/trash and basic cable and they keep up the common areas, however I do have to maintain one palm tree, at $50/year.

I've lived in Alamogordo for the better part of 55 years. I don't think you will have a crime problem. The public and the Cops don't put up with that. When I was a kid, old cowboys were riding through town horseback with pistols on their hips. You have to remember; that this is Billy the Kid Country. Thought you might like this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4LanGtobKh9sMk When I was a kid the street you live on Florida was a dirt road. The horses wouldn't step on it after it got paved. They had never seen a paved road before. We didn't get our first stop light until I was about 15, hell I had been driving for at least two years before then. You'll be safe there rusty or all hell is going to break loose.

I really like this place...a lot! I have been considering a tiny home community as another living option and this one is very nice, although it would be even nicer if I could own the land. Everyone is different, has different living styles, etc., but I'd genuinely like to know why this hasn't turned out to be what you want after all and this soon after you purchased it? What are the cons? Maybe you can share those with us in an upcoming video at some point?
