Can you have a small campfire? I could imagine placing your cot outside near a small campfire, laying down watching the night sky having a cold brew! In that area Ill bet you could see some pretty amazing lights passing overhead. To the south you have White Sands and Roswell to the northeast. Not far from the Roswell crash site.

I used to have quite a bit of problems with mice and rats, and of course that brought on the snakes... But I have been mixing a little bit of jiffy cornbread mix with baking soda I'm putting that in little one inch piles here and there around my camp. It's been a month or so since I've seen a mouse or evidence or even snakes.

Could be the thermometer mounted on the metal building is causing the temp to read higher. Looks like a good setup and great view except for the heat. It's the minor details.

Have you considered a lightweight pop up camper? I'm sure you can back into garage then crank up the roof, and just leave it in there. You can get them with A/C and heating, refrigerator, sink, seating area, etc. Just a thought, but I know you do you,

Hi Rusty, that land looks like reptile heaven. If you're looking for content ideas, I would love to see footage of rattlesnakes and regular snakes and lizards. Rusty that Midea air conditioner will work well for you. I have same brand just a little bit larger and it cools my entire fifth wheel camper with no problems. This will be it’s third summer ☀️ 😊

Mine’s 8,000 BTU, cooling 560sf, which is almost 2x the recommended space. But I love that I can keep it at 88°, instead of 86° like all the other brands. If I happen to be inside during the hottest time of the day, then I might set it at 82°. It’s on its 3rd year too. Use the dry mode occasionally, since the humidity is rarely below 97%, but I have a dehumidifier that runs constantly… couldn’t do without it.

Rusty have you tried one of the battery powered camping showers? Basicly a shower head and a long hose. Not a lot of water pressure but enough to get the job done.
