@@McTAnGuS it’s not a good industry and it’s a huge contributor to the housing crisis. The last time I visited my daughter in New Jersey the host tried to hit me for a $200 cleaning fee and gave me a negative review. Luckily I always record the room I’m staying in before and after. I also had lots of footage of my daughter and I playing board games and it showed how clean we kept the house. They charge things like cleaning fees and resort fees and still expect you to do all the dishes and everything else they ask you to do on their punchlist. I mean come on man. I’m not at a resort with a pool and entertainment. It’s your fucking house. I just came back from New Jersey and I stayed at hotels and it was a much better experience. Not a great experience but I also wasn’t worried about being charged for something we didn’t do. It’s becoming one of those things where hosts are just doing it because they can.

@@lonewolfdiy That's ridiculous they need to remember your having a holiday not a bloody chore list. I seen a few of these on reddit as well $58 dollars per night with a $150 dollar cleaning fee what are they thinking.
