I love that you treasure your old Kitchen machines like your mixer and grinders etc etc ( and axe head lol ) and realise the build quality is far superior to modern machines . Although i was impressed with your washing machine and spin dryer .Having said that i doubt they will be working as long as your vintage Food processor,s .

It sure is a shame Parsons Welsh Pickled Mussels and Cockles are not available in the USA .I am sure Ariel would love these traditional Welsh dishes and not forgetting there Lava Bread and the best sea salt on the Planet that all the Top Chefs use . I was talking to the Welsh coastal forager on KZbin and he said Parsons are top notch and the only licenced Mussel beds because of how clean the Sea is . I eat them for the Iodine as well as all the other benefits and taste .

That's a super healthy salad. I usually juice those three with some ginger and lemon, now I will have to make a salad. I will be harvesting my beets soon.

Many years ago (like 40 or 45) I had a salad of pickled asparagus spears, sliced beats and slices of hard boiled egg that was delicious (I believe the dressing was a sour cream base with dill). So that's a and b... two thirds there...! Wonder what I could come up with for the c. Capsicum...would that allowed...lol...?

This looks delicious. I usually make carrot beet salad but never thought to add the apples. I agree with the shipping food thing. Our store sells peppers from Holland. I’m in upstate NY, and I always thought why ship them around the globe when we can grow them here??

Yes! It's been way too dry so far. Very hard on all the plants and such to have it far below freezing for so long with no deep snow to insulate them.

Nice. Not sure if you know this tip, but if you run a few ice cubes through at the end it will push out the last bit of veggies so nothing goes to waste. Thanks for the video. Love them!

Hello beautiful and Burley too, just finished off the best vegetable beef soup I've ever made. Dang that would have been a excellent side to go with it. I had to google the abc salads..one is apples bananas and cheese. Lol. Another not exactly a salad was avocado, bacon and chicken. You could do the avocado, beets and chicken...that sounds yummy to me because i love all 3.

The grinder attached to my kitchen aid that I'm using here? My mother gave it to me when she got a larger model. It's older than me by a few years at least. The most similar model made now is amzn.to/32O6DKo though I've never personally used it.

I don't when they are my homegrown ones that are pretty fresh as their skins are pretty tender. If you have older ones that have a tougher peel, you might want to.
