meet this wonderful couple at a rest stop and just had to interview them after I saw what they were living in! Very sweet couple and a great set up for boondocking and starting out!

Negative comments are from those who are jealous of these 2 people doing things on their own and living their dream. Those who wrote neg. rude comments hate their own life, their unhappy. So it makes them feel good to try to bring others down. Its that old saying misery loves company. They are miserable so they want everyone else to be miserable. They hate to see others happy. They leave negative comments because they are mean nasty miserable people and jealous of those who are happy and working hard to live their dream. They are enjoying life unlike the negative rude naysayers....

Hello people, I really don't see anything wrong. Did you guys all just started watching in the middle of the video or something? She talked about where they are from, how long they were on the road, who they met, Hawaii and all. I'm sure he was so excited about his achievements. Besides, he's probably more informative on what and why he chose certain items for the bus. He did the built himself while she was away at school, give him some credit.

Many people will be jealous of their happiness and success. Those who made negative comments, dont have the brains to realize, their comments say more about themselves then this nice couple. This bus is sooo nice! I love everything about it! I watch videos on this all the time and plan to do some traveling too. Probably a van or maybe a cargo trailer. Just not sure, so I may go with an older travel trailer to start until I know exactly what and how I want to live before I invest in a conversion. I also appreciate the info on the solar! what a cool couple. Just getting out there and trying a different lifestyle is so much fun and refreshing. I bought a boat and went that route for 3 plus years. the plans I had at the beginning to adapt the boat to my lifestyle just melted away and I ended up living very differently and more in harmony to what the boat offered. it's hard to explain but go for it and don't worry about how as you will learn the answers to questions you wouldn't know now to ask.

I'd say it'd be a good full sized van. But if you get one clean clean clean and clean some more cause it was once packed with kids and most little kids get weird colds. You ever catch something at school and the doc have a hard time to tell what it was ? Yeah so. Be sure it's clean before you get one. You would want to get all rust off of it first so you don't have to destroy it later to fix something that was over looked.

I get the impression he did most of the talking because it was his creation. She was also impressed with the work he did, was proud of his ability and did not once look uncomfortable that he was doing the lions share of the interview. I agree with the other person who said that people are salty and quick to judge. This guy said this is first time he has built anything like this. He did all the work while she was abroad studying. NO offense, but it makes sense for the builder to talk about the why's, how's, and the reasons behind the build, layout, etc. I honestly believe he was just excited to let the whole world know, you can do this too, and it's not super expensive. I thought it was amazing of him to offer up any and every tip he did to make a build easier, and more cost effective/efficient for those who want to do it but might be scared to. Way to go! I wish them nothing but happiness and safe travels. :) PS. That fridge was cool AF, I'd love to know what brand/model etc. thanks!

Man they have been lucky with the Walmart deal... I stopped in a Walmart parking lot to eat a sandwich with my kids before running and to grab a couple things, and they had a rent-a-cop who came over and told us we couldn’t eat our sandwiches in the parking lot. He ask us to leave or he would call the police and get us for trespassing. I said “ok” and rolled up the windows and continued to eat. My aunt was the store manager so when we went in I told her what had happened. I’ve never seen him again.

Very nice work. The onlyl thing I would recommend is to have the propane tanks on the outside of the bus instead of inside. It may be working okay now, but too many deaths have occurred while people are sleeping. Other than that, very well done.
