There's another way to use the necklace. You can attach the TX to the necklace and hang it inside your shirt. I've done this with other wireless transmitters, and your shirt acts as a way of blocking any breeze or slight wind. I thought that's how the necklace was meant to be used when I first saw it on other brands. It's a quick way to place a mic on you without it showing.

I've been using this microphone and I think its great. My only issue is getting it inside the deadcat. I wound up purchasing aftermarket deadcats and its a bit easier. Thanks for the vid. By the way, am I the only one finding it hard to insert these mics to the stock deadcats?

Thanks for your comment. Actually I’ve heard that before. It sounds like a common issue, probably the biggest pain point of the product. I rarely ever used dead cats and wind muffs (usually just out the mic under my shirt). I’ll have to check out these aftermarket ones. Thanks for sharing that.

I have this nice little mic, but I have one very aggravating dilemma: attaching the wind muff. You didn’t show how you got it on. I’ve quit using the product outside because trying to attach the wind muff is almost impossible.

Oh man I’m sorry that you had problems with the wind muff. It is a bit tricky but I could suggest another alternative? Try wearing it with the mic on the inside and the magnet on the outside. See if that helps with wind.

@ I tried and it does, to a degree: clothing rubbing against the mic as I walk kinda killed that attempt to solve the issue. I’m waiting on my Rode Wireless Micro to get here in hopes that will solve ALL issues I have with wireless mics - adjusting and getting the volume just right, where to wear it, etc.

I believe you switch that on your camera.. I had and have a t4i coming in the mail and that's what I did. Does it work?

@ just dropped the gain volume on the transmitter to the lowest possible and it’s better! Still going to tweak some stuff to get the best possible audio!

I believe it records both mics to one channel so you cannot change the balance of two speakers later? Otherwise it is neat for the price.

Correct but I think that’s how it is with most transmitters when transmitting audio. I think.

@@rogerseng A respectable system should enable one mic to be recorded to the left channel and the other to the right, or combined if the user prefers - Rode Wireless Micro for instance and many others.

@@Ozpeterfrom other review and from the using of my hollyland lark m1 you can do it in stereo mode. But sadly it's only working when you recording it on the camera not on pc, phone or tablet

@@datkeeb08stereo audio is only transmitted through the 3.5mm TRS cable. Other means would only record in mono.
