I really like the power cord inside the compartment and separate because... you can put the expensive surge protector inside the motorhome and lock the compartment.

Having a power cord that is user replaceable if something happens, instead of losing your rig for months for a dealer tech to replace a hardwired one.

I really like this RV. my only thumbs down is no place to put the remote. We have two beagles and they are remote eaters, If you leave them down with them overnight. we’re on our fifth remote in our house, so it is a must to have somewhere to store them. The tv with sound bar is sweet! Love the counter space and list could go on.

Great coach! 3 things I dislike are no pantry/50 amp cord needs plugged in/tight dump station door (bonus dislike is no washer/dryer prep). The 3 things I love is this 33" ft class A is 50 Amp/has 22.5 " tires/has a king bed (bonus love is lots of storge in and out and the 4,700 CCC). Again, great coach

Matt, we have a 2019 Jayco Precept 31UL, which is the same unit. My 50-amp power cord is hardwired to the coach and i wish it weren't. I use a hand cranked Mor-Ryd cable reel. I have to pull all the cable off the reel then feed it back through the exit hole in the compartment. Same when leaving I have to reverse the procedure. It is a bit of a pain. If I could disconnect the cable from the coach it would be easier. Beside, you could always leave it plugged in to the coach if you wanted. Love the reviews. We think this coach is the perfect RV. It handled like a dream, there is plenty of room . It's our 5th motorhome and we are keeping it.

RVs are overpriced crap I wish I never sold my 1989 Airstream 190 class B I sold it cheap in 2016 for 5 grand that is what I paid for it in 2012. Now the prices are crazy. I will never waste my money on these unless I decide to sell my house and live full-time in a diesel pusher but why. If I did I have no equity and a house that I have to park in a warm climate and the costs are just as much as a real house but an RV will never last as long and it goes down in value every year, unlike a house that goes up every year as well as the property it's on. In Canada, we are lucky to use an RV for 3 months out of the year if we are lucky so spending a quarter of a million on a 3-month-a-year depreciating toy is a bad move learn from others and do not make the same mistake we did. Stay in a hotel it's much cheaper and more comfortable. You do not need to pay thousands a year for storage with a hotel room and you do not have to pay for insurance and you do not have to maintain it or put gas in it. It was not that bad a few years ago when you could buy a nice RV or trailer for 15 grand but those days are gone. I see the RV business is going away as people are strapped for cash as the cost of living goes through the roof!!

@@Andy-cw3kx I’ve been wondering about the quality issue. Companies have to be aware that the general distrust of most manufacturers due to shoddy workmanship is hitting their bottom line hard. I think some percentage of them will already be working on this. It takes a long time to regain trust and I would hope they’d be working to publicly rectify the problem as Grand Design is doing. It’s a process, not an event. Acknowledging a quality problem and making public changes in production, quality control, or even management might he a good start. Some doubts will take a long time to resolve. For example, I won’t ever buy a Thor product and I’m surprised anyone would. But there’s so much room for improvement in product and reputation and I hope the manufacturers see this and act on it!

I just saw a review of a high end motorhome (yikes - can’t remember which one) and a feature the company promoted was the fact that the power cable detached. Why? They said these cords were heavy and awkward to fold up to store and that having it free made that task much easier. Maybe it’s the newest thing? I believe it was a presentation by Entegra introducing a 2025 motorhome but don’t quote me.

I like the layout of this unit. I would have to have a w/d though and the kitchen counter around the sink is funky as there is no area where you can put your dish drain rack where it can drain back into the sink. Where is the pantry? I like the blinds as they will not rattle when driving. I don't mind the split bath because it gives you a larger shower.

love Entegra's. Likes: paint job, pass-thru storage, ccc, 33 ft, tv on lift, electric recliners, kitchen with oven, light colored cabinets, warranty, king bed. Matt, we have a 24 precept we love but the cord is a pain to pull out the 50amp thru the small opening at the bottom. It's easier to roll/unroll it outside, and just pull in only the plug like the water line.

If the power cord is hardwired and gets damaged, A lot of people have to pay to get it replaced. Since this one is removable, if it gets damaged, they can just buy a new one and they're done. Personally as an electrician I would prefer a hardwired one, but I understand the reasoning.

With the exception of the LR slides, this unit has loads of room to use with the slides in. Only the under-sink cabinet is restricted with the slide in and the sink itself is placed to be totally usable with the slide in. The bed can be used with the slide in. The two cab seats probably are restricted as to being able to lean back in them with the slides in, but that was not demonstrated in this video. CCC is quite good (if accurate?). Good to see the water and sewer areas separated. The power hookup is like a Class C would have. I don't trust slides on most RVs at this price. Otherwise, a promising unit, except for the gaudy paint job. 🙂

And you talked about the nice foot area on the passanger side "In case you have dirty shoes" Well, you have just tracked all that dirt all the way through the camper just to get to that seat with the nice floormat for in case you have dirty shoes

Two things. Andrea has commented and said she would be back. Posting that she left Matt without any knowledge is uneducated at best. On to the motorhome. The power cord is not really as bad as it seems. Notice the screw on locking collar so it could be mounted semipermanent. The occasional check to make sure the collar is still tight can be done when hooking up. If someone has an experience from this screw on collar being a problem down the road sharing would be most helpful.
