Tiny Off Grid Cabin Reveal & Tour. It’s Ridiculously Nice!

In this week's short reveal video, the off grid cabin gets furnished while Karen works her decorating magic. I thought it looked good when I finished it last week (video linked below), but this transformation is awesome.
We'll both give you the grand tour of the finished product before we spend our first night, and it looks amazing. I'll bet you agree!

Just got done watching the ridge cabin series, for the 2nd time. Yay! Now to start watching the spur again, at the start, 3rd time. I first stumbled across the spur when you were building the subfloor. That's what caught my attention. Then the start of figuring where things are. So the one video you mentioned "coffee and clothes" and my thinking came up with "1940-Salted" I could easily be wrong but, whatever. lol You put out some of the nicest appreciative videos worth watching. Thank you

Out of all of the off-grid small cabin videos I have watched this one has become my favorite. I've been looking for a cabin to build on my mountain property and am really leaning towards something similar to this. My wife also give kudos to your wife for the amazing job decorating and making it feel so inviting for a small space. Thank you for taking the time to document this project. I just subscribed so looking forward to watching the entire series and other videos. Are there construction plans for this cabin build or just something you imagined on your own?

I've watched this whole series in order and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. I think one of the reasons I like it so much is that you lavished the care and attention to detail typical of a much larger, expensive home on what is ultimately a very modest structure. A "dry cabin in the wilderness" doesn't exactly do that place justice. But there is something very appealing about building small and solid. That place will be there for generations now, people not yet born will be looking through those big windows and enjoying that amazing view. Nice work.

good call on the shed style roof. I did the same size with a 9/12 gable roof to get a loft. you saved yourself a lot of ladder work.
