I think it is a great shame that Tiny Tim was nearly always greeted with laughter; he was not a comedy routine. He was a great old-fashioned vaudeville performer. Sure he over-acted and was hammy at times, but he was genuinely talented and a unique voice in a world of mediocrity.

That's not entirely true, his act always had intentionally comedic elements, and he was definitely aware of it. People were laughing at him, but he wanted people to laugh

I saw tiny Tim live with a band , they were touring RV shows and state fairs. I can't remember what year it was but that it was probably the 1990s. I was 13 when I first saw him on laugh-In and his tulips song was on the radio. His strange band he put together and the songs on, what was probably his last album before his heart attack was very unique and one I would like to look up to hear again.
