He’s doing covers of popular tunes from the 1920’s and 30’s. That being said if you can’t appreciate the notes this man could hit consistently with his voice you haven’t a clue. You keep rattling away on that drum kit, doing reaction videos to music that was popular enough to grace the television when it was the main new thing for entertainment…when you get a few million eyeballs on you during a evening time slot in a major studio.. I’ll give you some credit. Till then… I hope you recognize how dim you appeared in thus video 4 years ago.. hope you grew a bit since then

He was a novelty act, but he was absolutely as serious as a heart attack..To him he was no novelty act..I remember the whole thing very well..Johnny Carson, (The Tonight show) used to have him on..He was weird, but a genuinely gentle soul....In fact, He fell in love with a girl he called Miss Vicky. They actually got married on the tonight show..It was a huge deal, that 40 million tuned into..It was an elaborate affair, with Tim wearing a white Tux, and tails...It was quite the spectacle...Alas, the marriage didn't last...(The marriage produced a child, and lasted 7 years. He then married twice more, who he also addressed as "Miss") ....Much like Liberace, Little Richard, and others, when they built Tiny Tim they broke the mold...Some might say...THANK GOD!...But I say, good for people like him...The world would be a much more boring place without them....One little factoid: He played Violin, Ukulele, and Guitar...The Uke he played Lefty-handed, but strangely the guitar right-handed....He was certainly one of a kind...Cool post.

Why was he famous? . . . . He was famous because, back in the "60's", we only had 6 TV channels and only three of them were "national networks". So, basically, at any given time there was a very good chance that up to 50% of the country could be watching, if you find a way to get yourself on a "hot show" like "The Ed Sullivan Show" which he did and that led him into the most popular show of the day, "Rowan and Martin's Laugh In".
