This Element camper will sleep 2 and travel 4! I wanted to have to separate sleeping spaces in this build. My sons are all old and don't like to rub next to dear old dad when they are sleeping. Heck, my wife doesn't like to touch me while she is sleeping either! haha. The partition and curtains really gives extra privacy and separation, even though you are still next to each other. Easy DIY and really a "no build" partition. Now I can even camp with some of my adult friends without getting too close!

I like to build personal campers from ordinary cars. My videos try to help you build your own. I don't build for others, but my videos have a walk through steps that I took for my diy builds. Maybe you are interested in a nomadic vanlife and can't afford a nice sprinter van? Homeless and want to live in a van? I try to keep the cost of all my camper builds low but functional. I re use things I can get for free or really cheap from offerup or craigslist. Your camper car build can be functional without costing a fortune.

Gosh, I thought the Element was small for 1 person. I guess if you’re tired enough from hiking or whatever your activity is, you’ll be able to sleep in the coffin-like confines. You would want to pitch a tent to throw all of your other stuff in so that you could keep the Element clear for sleeping. ❤ the creativity of the beanbag chair filling. You’ve got yourself a new subscriber 😊

Are Honda Elements and other SUVs quieter than a Ford Transit as far as road noise? Noise bothers me. If I buy a Ford Transit I plan to insulate it somehow. I drive a 1997 Lexus and it is so quiet inside. I'm 5 ft 5 inches and I want something I can stand up in but I would rather have a quiet vehicle. I won't be living in it. I only want to take occasional trips to the beaches in Georgia and stay overnight if I want

Why not get the Lexus, which is equivalent to Toyota’s Land Cruiser? Though you would not be able to stand up, you would have plenty of room. I imported a Mazda Bongo Friendee from Japan. It has a pop-top so I can stand. It has turned out to not be reliable, so I cannot recommend that micro camper, but I have seen pop-tops added to other vehicles as a modification. The nice thing about it is that going down the road you have the aerodynamics, but you also have the headroom when you reach your destination.

Question? I just purchased a 2011, really used Sienna. I'm elderly and disabled so can't work on it until it cools off. I'm planning on taking out the 2nd row seats but, what about the 3rd row? I don't know if there's storage under them or should I just fold them down? I'll be using several rugs I already have. Thanks in advance. Love your channel. You have such great ideas.
