This is the first time where it's all about the kids. Most parents who have made the decision to make this move, then put the kids in coffin like bunks. You not only gave them the back end of the bus with more room, you are also the only parents who have actual appropriate safety seats for everyone. Very impressive with your build! Great Job!!👍

tbh I don't think kids care for spacious interiors, large rooms, etc.. I remember when I was the age of those kids me and my friend used to build small bases out of scrap wood I could find and it wasn't enough to even comfortably sleep in, or stand, yet it was fun.

This is the best build I have ever seen. The layout is perfect. I like the fact that you don’t make your children sleep on the couch while you have a bedroom. I like your “bedroom” though. It is private when you need it to be. I never understood why people couldn’t build a bus or whatever RV, with enough electrical power. This is the first one I have seen where you can run an AC unit while having other appliances going. It is worth the money to me, to have power when I need it. The kitchen is perfect. I agree with an other comment that most kitchens are to big for the space. You make it work. That is all it matters. This is the best bus, by far, that have seen. Safe travels.

Thank you. We could have more space to play with if we opted out of having proper seating upfront. Safety measures such as appliances that are bolted down or metal framed walls to catch anything that could fly in an accident kinda sculpted our layout. We built our bus electrical to meet our needs from the cloudy Seattle area and also the heat of the south with ac needs.

@@celbel9425 The kitchen is small because of the seats in front! At first I was confused on why the home seemed a bit cramped for a long bus, compared to other buses. However in seeing how fantastic the seating area is at the front where they have minivan seats, it makes perfect sense. In ALL other vans, the parents themselves put in seatbelts for the children on the couches, which is HOPEFULLY perfectly secure.

Then there's the solar battery and wiring for the bus that is truly something I have not seen before in any build/conversion. The way he has made it all about safety first with every bit of wiring covered so that they're not hanging loose in the undercarriage of the bus. This whole build is fantastic especially for a big family. They have thought about the children first making sure their needs are met with the air con in their room as well as their own tv. I can see both view points and totally respect where you are coming from. The bunks are large twin size and they can fully sit up in them but that didn't translate well on the video. The wall section that the black back table folds out from blocks the views of each other when they are tucked in bed. Even when we had a large house with enough rooms they wanted to share bedrooms. We eventually plan on finding some land to buy when we figure out what state we like in the future. We are enjoying this time for now being able to travel and see things. The ever changing outdoors offer a lot of space when they need a break. They sit and enjoy the sun while painting or reading. Currently we are parked on a 250 acre farm in Oregon and they are playing in a little creek and planting gardens. Last Friday they were around our other bus friends in AZ with kids playing and having campfires. Life is more about adventures than living in a box. For now this works. We are hunkered down quaratining.

The thought, design and execution of this incredible rolling home is second to none! Aaron, you've done a wonderful job creating a truly unique environment for you and your family. Amanda is surely grateful to have such a capable partner, as I'm sure you are to have a wife who shares a common vision while contributing her own set of talents and abilities. While we weren't able to observe much about life with kids, road schooling, etc., in this video, it would seem that y'all have that well in hand. Best wishes for continued success from the road.

Homeschooling is wonderful. As soon as I saw your kids helping with the build, I knew you homeschooled. I was able to homeschool my 2 oldest. My younger 2 came 8-10 years later and with my older daughter having autism, she needed speech therapy, occupational therapy, and more specialized schooling. Don't ever doubt or second guess your decision. I regret my youngest didn't experience homeschool. Public school is just evil. God bless you and your beautiful family.

Actually, WE have to thank Aaron for sharing his knowledge, skills, experience and vision of this whole thing. He and his family (which, sadly, we don't hear from... but I respect this choice) have not only chosen a way of living : they've created it, and it clearly shows in the flock of pictures we can see along those 20 minutes. If there's one exemple to keep in mind about remote/van/off-grid/RVing (whatever you want to name it)... this is IT ! Thank you, it was such a ride. From very deep inside, thank you.

I am beyond impressed. This just blows my mind, the details that went into this. You guys thought of everything. 1. Beautiful Kitchen 2. Power system 3. AC Units 4. Washer & Dryer 5. Water filteration system 6. Three piece wash room I had to watch this three times, the power system really got me, I've never seen one quite like this. But the kitchen is my favorite, I'm really diggin this. I've never seen so many AC'S in a bus, good idea. I Like the seating area for the family, everybody has a good, reliable seat to sit in. Stackable washer & dryer instead of a combo, really comes in handy for a family of six, saves time. Water filteration system, I love it for I am particular about my water. You put a lot of details in this rig. OUTSTANDING !!
