Impressively, the compact & powerful Ecoflow Delta 1300 power station can run our entire tiny house! We first tested it when our host's power went out, resulting in a real-world backup power situation.⚡1800 Watts, 3300W Surge (Pure Sine Wave)- full specs: amzn.to/3j1qLAV ⚡In our product review, we share various ways to use & recharge the Delta 1300 #powerstation with key comparisons to other mobile power stations / solar generators.
We tested the Delta's solar power recharging capability by connecting it to our 2, 400-watt solar panels--installed on our tiny home roof. Later on a camping trip, we tested it with the fold-out EcoFlow 110W Solar Panel.
⚡⚡ Top Delta 1300 Features:
-Fully recharge within 1hr with AC power - 10x faster than most portable power stations
-Fully recharge with solar panels in about 4 hrs (dependent on direct sunlight and panel capacity), AND with a 12/24V carport in 10-12 hrs - again faster than other available options
-Comes with universal solar input (MC4 to XT60 Connector) - unlike other mobile power stations
-Large inverter load enables it to power most home appliances AND heavy-duty tools under 1800W (3300W Surge, Pure Sine Wave) with 1260Wh capacity
-Can charge an electric car! Comes with the necessary cable
-Small-space friendly size! 15.7 x 8.3 x 10.6 in (40 x 21 x 27 cm)
☀️🏡 In the future, we might invest in a 2nd Ecoflow Delta 1300. Both could easily fit under our couch and could be connected to our 400-watt solar panels to ensure continuous #offgridpower for our tiny house. Mini-homestead goals! ☀️⚡
👉EcoFlow Delta, $1,399.99: amzn.to/2QcnaUf
👉Delta with Folding 110-watt Solar Panel, $1,748.00: amzn.to/34jSHvW
☀️Top EcoFlow 110W Portable Solar Panel Station Features:
-Chainable feature allows you to connect 4 of the EcoFlow 110W solar panels together
-Comes with a handled carry case that has a built-in, adjustable stand
-Made of waterproof materials

I bought 2 of these Delta units and 2 banks of the Ecoflow solar panels recently and agree these are the handiest, most efficient, and lightest power stations out there. I actually paid around $1100 for the Deltas and the solar panels were the same as presented here. They are quite portable and hook up easily in parallel to provide upwards of 200 watts charging capacity. I haven't really needed to use them in an emergency situation so far, but I've charged them both to 100% with a combination of solar and wall plug charging. I live in Texas, and after going through the ridiculous power outages during our last winter's big freeze out, I said never again will I be without light and heat. Even if it never happens again, it's good insurance, just like any other insurance for other contingencies.

Thanks for the video, I am considering buying the Delta 1300, I have an AC200P connected to our kitchen and living room. The Delta 1300 and the River Max will be used to recharge the AC200P during power outages, essentially providing 4000wh. The Delta 1300 can also be used to provide power in other areas of the house. I like the idea of separate units rather than the Delta Max and the extra battery which needs to be plugged into the Delta Max. Separate units provide more flexibility during power outages.

Appreciate all of the content, and variables. Just ordered one yesterday. Current price is $1199, although I found one on Ecoflow's ReFurb's for $899, so huge savings. Have been reviewing all the options from other companies, and decided 1300 to be a great back up option for almost anyone. Apartment dwellers, could also use this with a solar panel or 2 (Provided they have a South facing window or porch/balcony). Done correctly could save monthly power bill. The only negative is to remember this is Lithium Ion. So do not charge up to 100% every time. Doing this, along with Fast charge, will limit the life of the unit.

Go tater tots. I think if your going to run alot of the you might want to by the ac200 Bluetti good video.👍

Or you can buy the new expansion batteries (up to 2) that plug into the Delta 1300, to increase the run time AND eventually (when out of Kickstarter status) a small gas table top size generator that you can program to automatically come on when the batteries are down to 20% and switch off when the battery is back to 80% (you program with software on your phone). The combination should keep your system running for days even if cloudy days go on. The gas generator has to be kept outside of course with a charging cable to where you put your Delta. It really is a flexible system

After charging my Eco Flo Delta to 100% with my solar panel. I brought it in and plugged in a small TV and the cable box in my room. I also plugged the unit power cord to the wall outlet and the fan came on immediately. Even though the Eco Flo Delta displays 100% charge and 99 hours. It will not turn on the TV or cable box. Question is why won't it turn on the TV and cable box? And is it safe to leave it plugged into the wall outlet while in use? That is if it will power up my devices.

I;m not a very technical person, but I would think that a dryer would overwhelm a unit like this, and probably most units. I talked to some sales people about little mini heaters and they said those pull too much power. But I like the adapter too.
@josephdebes3060
@josephdebes3060 2 жыл бұрын
Most RV shops sell the “dog bone” adapter (got mine from Lowe’s actually). The dryer will work, but likely deplete the power quickly without extension batteries and eventually a small gas recharging generator (still in Kickstarter status I think…November 2021). If you need something long term, you might consider a cylinder “spin” dryer ($125-$150) which will spin the water out of your clothes and then allow them to completely dry up on hangers in a few hours. They plug in, but take about 10% of the power your electric dryer would eat. They are available online…have one for a vacation home…works great!

Dollar for dollar, this unit just doesn't measure up to a custom solar system. Because of the portability, these units are great as a back up option in the event of a power outage (to power CPAP machines, charge phones, etc) but they are not a good option to power a tiny home on a consistent basis. One thing that wasn't mentioned was the amount of charges you get on the battery (and that using the super charge mode decreases that number). Since this is an all in one unit, you cannot replace the components separately.

Tony Joyner good points 👍👍 a friend is actually borrowing ours to power a cpap while camping. The flexibility that comes with portability is definitely the best part. We used numerous different ways already, from powering camera lights to heavy duty tools, etc. It gets 800 cycles-from 0 to 100 and back to 0 is considered a cycle

Can you solar charge and use the Delta at the same time? Thank you for the broadcast I'm trying to decide of that it a 100 explorer Jackery. How much are the panels for it. Which fo you think is better a Jackery 100 explorer or the Delta?

This was great! Thank you for the review. One question please... On the back of the unit where the loads plug in is there actual metal to metal contact between the ground pin of the plug and inside the unusual looking receptacle? Another review said there was no actual connection to the ground pin, which sounds unusual. Thanks
@josephdebes3060
@josephdebes3060 2 жыл бұрын
The ground pin on the plug goes into the hole on the Delta, but it is not grounded. There really is no way to ground this unit, however it really has not caused any problem running my standard house side by side refrigerator and a 12 year old 19 cubic ft house freezer together (6 hours at start up, when both compressors are running, but cycles to about 10 hours, because each compressor runs only about 15-20 minutes out of each hour). I keep them both plugged into the Delta and the Delta plugged into the wall ( and 2 x160 watt solar panels connected) so the Delta takes over “automatically “ with a short milliseconds delay when the power goes out. For sensitive computer equipment, that short delay might be too long for a computer server to come back on. I solved that problem by using an inexpensive APC brand continuous power box to plug my desktop and internet router into, then the APC into the Delta to ensure the short “gap” between power outage and Delta switch over keeps sensitive electronics running.

With handles positioned where they are the screen should be on the long side so you can put the unit against a wall with the screen facing out whilst allowing equal access to the outputs on the sides under the handles. Or have everything on the long side for front access to everything. Either way is better than what they have done.
@annwithaplan9766

I guess it depends on what you're doing. I'm using mine to power my fridge for part of the day. I have it next to the fridge with the plug-in end by the back of the fridge so it's easy access to plug the cord into, and the front end outward toward the kitchen so I can see the screen. For me, this way is better, and the side section is convenient for the solar plug-in.

That's very inefficient. Taking DC, making it into AC (about 12-16% loss), converting that AC into DC to charge the unit (another loss), and gaining AC output (yep, another conversion loss) may work, but not well.
