That pit was probably for trash. My grandfather lived in southern New Mexico, and he had a big, deep pit where he burned his trash. Non-burnables found their way into it as well, because it was a handy place to pile stuff you no longer wanted. Hopefully, now that the doodles have their own enclosure, it will prevent them from causing chaos when you’re trying to work! It will be interesting to see if the house progresses faster! Wow, Cloud sure was stubborn about moving! I had a dog that would do that when it was bath time. She would just go limp, because she knew I couldn’t lift all 55 lbs. of her. No amount of sweet talking or treats would help. Her theme song was, “I Shall Not Be Moved!” It’s a good thing Adalai is young and strong!

Hi Ash, Jon and family, just love following your lives through these videos. Just a thought about that hole auger, I have one and found it a real pain to start, as it would spin the auger and it would kick. It’s a bit hard as you are using your hands to pull start. I made a wheeled stand that I use, it has a gimbal plate to mount the drive unit. It holds the auger tip up off the ground while I start it. It has counterbalance weights to make it easy to move around. The wheels are no flat trolley wheels. I also have mounting points for the other augers so it’s all in one where I need it. If you want I can take photos and send them to you. I find the frame makes it so much safer. I am 6’2” tall so it’s OK for me. Shorter people may need to adapt it. Cloud is such a daggy dog with a lovely nature. Stay safe and take care.

You’re increasing your land bit by bit.if the dogs are going to be there all night ,they could do with a shed to go into if it rains or if it’s cold and snowy so they are out of the weather.,and if you face it away from where the sun is in the summer they can use it as shade too..But what a huge space for them to run around in,and of course if deliveries are due,or a lot of people are around and you don’t need them running around,it’s ideal for them to have somewhere to play.Hope your event went well..Sending love to you all 🥰

I'm glad you will get some relief now from the Dudes while you build the hyperadobe roundhouse! I remember that Ashley admitted that they don't help much! I'm glad you got that other acre close to the Airport. Good place to have the doodles. I'm glad to hear that the soil is still easy to auger for you. Nice job putting in the posts and the brace posts with the concrete. Those forever t-posts don't look strong but they sure seem to work well! Nice job putting the wire on the brace posts. It looks great so far. Are you using Adali's car to go get the food supplies for the workshop? That's nice to have a second car and not always the truck. I'm so glad you were able to do the shopping Ashley! I'm so proud of you! I'm so glad you're getting very close to stringing the top wire of the fence. I hope the trench for the jumper for the electrified fence isn't too hard to dig. I've seen other homesteaders that had to do that to put in a gate. Cute seeing the dogs play inside the fence. I'm glad you got it done! Thanks for this video Longnecker family!

Great video! Our family has Goldens, so we totally get when they’re NOT going anywhere! 🐾😂🤪 Ashley……let me just say you’re super mom, wife, cook, ranch helper, and so on. My daughter has anxiety so I’ve learned to see things through her lens through the years. (She has the MTHFR gene variation and taking the supplement L-methyl folate has really helped!) I’m loving all the cool baseball hats, ie; tractor supply as they’re super cute and man do your blue eyes seem to show even more than usual. I’ll have to check out the wallet and key holder…..looks like a sleek way to store needed items. All of your family play such a huge roll on the homestead, but wanted to just take time to recognize and honor you today…….. 🙏🏽😊

Hi Guys 😊 Loving the build, everytime you seem to be getting jobs done the way you want. Thinking of what you found. I think its either 1) A fridge door? 2 A safe door reason i thought of that is because the numbers you found on it relating to oil and you have to oil some doors and i think that it could be part of a safe 😮?? Also you keep finding on the property so you may find some more stuff belonging to a Safe or another part of a Fridge??? If either of the above happens then wow it, noe that would be both Weird and/or creepy 😮😮 don't you think guys AKA Tiny Shiny Home???? Already looking forward to the next video / adventure/ building lesson / project 😊😊 Take care and keep up ther fantastic build / how your building it and also the technology, your installing/ also what you have already installed Lisa UK xxxxxx
