I must say, as a long time s.Broly player this video is very comprehensive, it's not just a combo video but shows very detailed examination and explanation of each button/move and it's utility. This is absolutely peak, the only way you could make this better would be to have audio narration obviously.

I wouldn't expect them to buff his frame data in any meaningful way or he'll be the second coming of Vegito too safe in relation to his damage potential. Maybe make his 2M(x4) a true string at most and buff him a different way like getting rid of his kookily 10f jab.

Crazy, after all this time of trying, thanks to this guide, I can finally do the jh 2l link. What worked for me is after the 6h, superdash as soon as possible! NO delay, then when it hits delay the jl as much as you can without the jh dropping, and 2l at the last second, you will get it, took me 2 hours to get it consistently. This advice refers to the j236h extension. I haven’t even done the other one yet.

Trust me man its a lot more consistent if you SD immediately after 6H and then delay the jL.

These guides are so good I can’t help but request something that would be immensely helpful for someone at my skill level (maybe decent at fighting games in general but still learning the ins and outs of 3v3 team fighters) - for me it would be suggestions for teams/teammates that show avenues for synergy or aspects where certain teammates can help with the character’s weaknesses, amplify their strengths, and so on. Super Broly specifically reminded me of this because of how limited he seems without a good team around him. Of course I’d think the specific examples would be great but then from there I think they’d also be helpful for inducing general principles of structuring a team around a character’s strengths/weaknesses/synergies. Probably a little late to start doing this for DBFZ guides, so maybe if we’re blessed with a sequel hopefully it’s something to consider, and I know other videos have stuff like this but I’ll be honest, I think your guides are the best and I’d love to see more in-depth analysis of this aspect of play in your guides specifically at some point. In any case - great work as always!

I usually set him as mid which gets him bars to work with by time he’s tag in. This makes him really dangerous as any super dash can chained into 236H into a full combo. And we all know how good superdash is in neutral. Also unscaled with 5 bars usually means TOD even with BNB combos. Only downside is he doesn’t really got mix, just mind games.

you can slap him between many teams and be fine, 17 and Base Goku specifically are great support for Broly.

Hey quick question when I do JLH they recover before I get the 2L off am I miss timing and not getting it set up properly?

I can't explain it in any more detail than when I already did at 18:09. Most common reasons for drops are a) you didn't superjump b) you didn't delay superjump c) you're unintentionally delaying the Superdash or any button after the jump and d) you didn't follow the annotations properly.
