Probably not, but kicks are 7 frames startup while beam is like 20+ so legs will always work while beam may drop

Something to note with L kicks, its a great poke when blocking superdashes in the air. A lot of the time it will even clip the opponenet if the back dash is not frame perfect.

Depending on which attack you started a combo and how long the combo is your damage will "scale" meaning that it will do less damage. That's why some times you will not see combos that look cool and be long in real/ranked matches because they will not kill the opponent or do low damage.

I've found that in the corner, ending combos with j.LL2H > jc.LL2H > j.214L into supers does a meaningless amount more damage (about 7 more lol) but ending with j.LLS > j.214M can give you Tag DR so eh

I've always wondered, after watching most of your guides: considering these videos are combo bnbs and basics of a character, is it really that important to include which normals are unsafe? I say this, because even beginners will understand to finish blockstrings with the obligatory safe special move, and never on a normal move (exceptions standing like ZBroly). Finding out which normals are safe would be for intermediate players, since that involves stagger pressure and baiting buttons (imo, of course). Not sure what TinyTorgue and comment section thinks

It's a nice bit of information to have, but imo majority of people just mash on any possible gaps. Outside of matches I find via discord, damn near every ranked and casual opponent get counter hit by basic frametraps. It discourages even attempting to try and condition your opponent. Safe normals are great for baiting dp's and that's about it.

To be fair, the details Torgue puts in these videos is fantastic - it definitely goes up into intermediate level simply because of the variety of block strings you can use. If it were to go up into advanced, would give more details on how certain tools work in character specific MU’s, or a lot more neutral implications for each tool. But I think overall it’s fine to include what normals/specials are safe, some aren’t, some are, and you need to learn which one is which.
