There are home inspectors and then there are supposed home inspectors. Another channel on YT had a video on the "WORST" deck he had ever seen, he should see the deck that came on my daughters house. Oh, and guess what, they had a licensed home inspector before purchasing and he didn't notice the entire deck was built with just nails except for two bolts that hold it to the house.

Seems like a couple of simple differences in choices could have made this deck significantly better. Not even a lot more work

They make pressure treated LVLs but that doesn’t look like one.

@@joer9276@joer9276 Yes, pressure-treated LVLs are available in America, but not as of yet in Canada, to my understanding.
