Tip Tuesday 45) JINBAO (pad/drum).I was asked by a few people to show this pad in more detail and show the inside. I got this at the 2020 NAMM show (before the Covid19 shutdowns)....because it caught my eye as a great teaching and practicing tool. Jinbao is a manufacturer in China that makes lot's of products for many drum companies. I Haven't seen this on the market yet but I would assume that covid delayed the introduction. How does it sound high pitched and do you still have that jinbao pad

It sounds great, I do still have the pad. It was a prototype in the Jinbao booth at the 2020 Namm show. There's a new RCP pad that is an exact copy (I assume that they're manufactured by Jinbao for RCP since Jinbao makes lot's of products for other companies).

@@markponekovic3415 if you do get an RCP hybrid pad, you have 2 options: The 12 in drum & a standard 13 in If you want something that’s somewhat affordable, I’d go with a 12 in. If you wanna swap out heads with something like an Evans Hybrid, I’d go with the 13 in.

I think it might be a prototype that wasn't pushed due to covid but will be reintroduced in the next NAMM
