You are so encouraging!! I've been wearing wigs for about a year now and wouldn't have this perspective without you. Being open minded is totally key to being satisfied with your hair. I see it like this...most women aren't crazy about the hair they were born with so they try all kinds of styles and techniques to change it until they get it to a point they like it. Same here. You get a wig and it may not be exactly perfect but you can get close to what you want IF you are willing to learn techniques like you teach here. Thank you so much for doing what you do!!

Please don’t apologize for repeating content in new vids. Often I hear content creators talking about things as if I know what they’re talking about but I don’t see every video and it may be old info to content creator but it’s new to me. I’m not the type to go digging through old files much. I do marathon some channels but mostly I watch what youtube recommends- so I’m super grateful when creators share old news with new viewers. So helpful to know there is hope when after purchasing a wig style I love, but it does not lay right. I recently had this happen with my new favorite, Rachel Welch, wig I have worn now for about four years. It looks great except the bangs lay flat, which I hate. So now I will try to direct them up using your techniques.

Yep, hand tied human, I wanted bangs. Well they had other ideas so I wet them and weighted them with 2 clips. That worked but then I had to get the clip bumps out so I wet them again. Boom!

A slideshow video of the sad look of most wigs out of the box, in contrast to the same wig that has been styled and worn a few times, would help folks change their expectations of a new wig. It would be fun for us all too!

Hey Denise! I tried Caruso steam hairsetter on my synthetic wigs and was so disappointed as it did nothing, just left my eight wet. Ugh. So I just received my hot air brush today so I will try that.

I hope it works! I have A LOT of trouble curling heat friendly synthetic wigs... some people do so great with that. I watched someone curl a regular synthetic using steam and a curling iron that was OFF (just used it for the shape).... I tried it and it didn't work for me. I guess I'm just not patient enough to let the style fully cool and set, lol.
