OMG I have to go buy some lard. I have never seen an Egg Torta before. But, wow was that thing a beauty! I use the same chorizo at home. He was so slow and meticulous. Everything was so clean. The bread looked so fresh along with all the other ingredients. Well Done Man!

@@spiritualwarrior864 honestly Indian people make their food expensive but they cook it right and we Mexicans should too, when someone cooks Mexican food correctly it is gourmet,some of the best food you can fill up a day with but instead we allow thousands of little restaurants some great and many using cheap ingredients and meats giving the food a bad name, meanwhile the great ones are charging similar to the trash restaurants, we need to reserve a level of class for our food in introducing it to the rest of the world and be paid more for it. The old recipes held onto shouldn't be bought for $2 a taco or $10 burrito but instead double or even tripled if the quality is that good because those are real chefs behind the counters and cooking is tedious that's why many of us eat out and should pay respect to a quality craft.

Those tortas were spectacular. If I had a criticism, it is that the Chorizo is not homemade, but you loved it anyhow. $2 for THAT sandwich is a great price! In fact, here in Pennsylvania, I pay $2.50 for a tube of Chorizo, and that is a discount price. Bolillos are not to be found, but I can find similar breads. That sandwich here in the States would cost $7-$10. Great work on these vids.

Those bolinos or torta bread is actually from France (the idea of it) France has influenced at least food wise in mexico & some asian countries. Thats why Philippines or Vietnam sandwiches are made with that same looking torta bread
