I can confirm on grass isles or the one with muiltple islands that you spawn on if you control the sea you control everything

thats partially right but u have to be fully aware of everything in yhe sea because sometimes people who have alot of experience will sneak transport boats from the edge and if u dont see it they can sneak troops into ur base and u cant stop them

I tried doing that but it's hard. I made a hella of attack ships and prisoned two people to my right and made a squad to defend against that one guy in the left. I tried getting battleship fast by going to the mainland and taking as much as possible for money. And when I got battleships the ones on my right were completely prisoned and the guy at the left became my ally. They made balloons tho and were able to sneak I didn't have much army at the land (especially near my castle) I was more into stopping them from even thinking to attack but I forgor Abt balloons and when i remembered I panicked didn't know what to do I don't know how to stop balloons pls help. I lost but at least I gave a fight
