When you apply the cool care on any clip or hold the clipper down! The reason for this is so that the cool clear fluid doesn’t flow back into the clipper. Very important!
@leejohnson.5 жыл бұрын
kenneth vick can you repeat that quickly pls?

Also apply the cool care with the blades running and then if possible spray it down with air to dry it or use a clean towel.

We got compressed air in my shop.. it makes cleaning alot easier and u dont have to worry about brushes or cleaning them after a while, wiping ur machines with a brush destroys the brush in a couple weeks,, compressed air the way to go.
@DavidFalla4 жыл бұрын
That’s a good advantage for sure, but not all barbershops share the look or theme to have air compressors.

Buy compressed air cans to remove hair from the shavers its more effective. And spray the blades and the foils let them sit fir 10 min and its ready to go. If you don't wait 10 min its not clean.

I.like your suggestion about putting the blade in the handle with one side highet then the other. I think this would.make somethings easier for me looking forward to trying out
@2Lyrech4 жыл бұрын
Instead of pushing the blade directly into the straight razor holder. You can remove another side of the straight razor to place the blade on it safely.

How do you disinfect your brushes? If you’re brushing hair off the tools during the cut, you technically should disinfect that brush before using it on another client. Having 2 separate brushes (1 for head, 1 for machine) for each client is probably best, right?
@DavidFalla5 жыл бұрын
Hey so I use a UV sterilizer for brushes, combs and things like that. I use one brush to clean the machines and a different on to clean my clippers.
@eatadique56145 жыл бұрын
From my understanding, because the brush is so porous, it won’t disinfect properly. Which is why I’m really strict barbershops, I.E, military bases, they won’t allow you to use a neck duster because it’s an item that cannot be disinfected with something like Cool Care or similar products.
@jessegimenez81755 жыл бұрын
If you use plastic brushes with plastic bristles you can drop them in a solution or spray them with something like cool care. You can spray brushes that boar bristles as well just don’t dip them in a solution or you run them. I think most barbers definitely use different brushes for different tasks but that’s up to you to figure out what you like for what task.

Its so funny, i just got a WAHL Shaver Shaper for Xmas and i heard 50/50 that people said theirs were garbage and that the foils broke A LOT and to buy the Andis one....but so far I'm liking my Wahl one. It hasnt broke....yet....but i am gentle with it like its meant to be used/handled so I'm sure they'll go far
@DavidFalla5 жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t say they are garbage but the foils aren’t as good as you can find with Andis or Babyliss. At the end of the day it’s all about preference and what might work for me, it might not work for the next person and it’s always going to be like that. Thank you for sharing with us
@jayhari17135 жыл бұрын
@@DavidFalla Ya so far I have no issues with it....(and hey I actually read the user manual lol). I will try the Andis or Babyliss one wenever the current Wahl S.S. craps out. And question, do u need to oil the cutter bars specifically? Or will that 5in1 Cool Care do it justice? (Because that is what i have, and use, after every time i use it and clean it.)
