⚠ *A few disclaimers:* ⚠ I do not go over Surface tool or Weld tool. This is because these two are slightly more advanced, and I will explain them in part two. I also know that the video is fast-paced and efficient, but this is so that you can learn F3x as quickly as possible while still getting proper information. imma try to explain what the "LAST" axes are used for, for that i will use rotate, if you have 3 parts in a line and you select all of them using the Shift+Click thing, the last part you select (Example: the middle one) it will count as the Center and if you choose the First Part it will count as the center, idk how to explain it but you can try it.

Since y’all don’t know what Last is for let me tell you, using local to move models to its direction might be a bad move because the parts spreaded out when you move it making a huge mess. Last is recommended if your applying it to moving it to a direction where it’s facing, Last relays on the last part to move the group you selected, that’s the point of it but local is still pretty useful for some appliances like: Sliding doors or separating stuff and geometry.

Yes, but I already mentioned that one should not move multiple objects (including models) using *local* movement (tip #4). While I heavily appreciate the feedback, I'll need you to explain more about Last movement and rotation before I can understand (i.e. which side is the object facing and what is considered "the last part"). alr cuz i dont see this being mention: the last tool works like the local tool however you can see it in action in large builds with different angles. with local the parts would move away and with local they only follow XYZ co-ords. with last however the build functions essentially as a brick in local. this helps if you need to add more parts at an angle and dont want to resize everything or rotate the entire build to accommodate for the new part. hope that helps

cant believe that i came here to learn because i thought i was rusty only to see that i knew more than the guy that made this (by the way, last option on rotate and move if i remember correctly acts like local, so if you have 2 parts and part 2 is facing 45 degrees up and then you select part 1 and put it on last it will move locally according to the last known rotation of part 2, and same with rotation i think, but im not entirely sure)

So hi I have a question I a builder and have no clue how to script and how to use F3X so I made sinking roleplay ship game and wanted to sink it using F3X. But I keep falling through the ship when I try to move it do u know how to prevent it?

Hm. Is the collision of the ship model off whenever it moves? If it is, then perhaps try keeping it on. You should still be able to move the ship if it is unanchored and the scripts are right.

how do you select grouped items with f3x? regarding the bottom left corner

You can select them by clicking on them if they are already grouped. If not, then highlight all the parts and click CTRL + G. This will group them, and you can move the items from there. To move parts *inside* the model, go into the Explorer tab and open the model up. Find the part(s) you want to move, and you can use F3x to move them from there.

I personally prefer the F3X ones since they seem to be more organized and faster to use to me. But I've always used them in games, one that have the gear implemented. Are you aware how I can use the building tools in Roblox Studio?

Your copy and paste may be broken. This usually happens after using it for a while (e.g. spamming in Brookhaven). To fix this, you simply close all my windows for the browser you're using to copy the ID, then open it back up.

You can switch by using the shortcuts that I mention in the bottom left corner of the video. Let's say you want to switch from the Move tool to the Resize tool. You would click "X" on your keyboard in order to do so.

the texture tool doesn't work for me. can you only do meshes and textures while Making the game?

Are you sure that you're using the texture tool properly? Make sure that the ID you typed or pasted into the box is identical to the actual ID. Plus, some images may not work in general (i.e. it gets moderated), so you may have to use a different image entirely. And it depends on what game you're making. If your game is mostly based around just building and architecture, then not only can you use both meshes *and* textures, but you can *also* use *parts* to build your game. However, if your game mostly includes scripting and animation, then you may have to use meshes and textures a little less.
