I loved all the gardening tips. I also loved what Dr. Fuhrman mentioned about vaccines. Nothing but the truth!

Thank you Dr. Furhman for mentioning Helen and Scott Nearing. My In laws were friends with them , and Learned so much from them . Your Daughter might be interested in The Good Life Center which was the Nearings home in Maine . It is open to the public , and the gardens there are still abundant and are overseen by local volunteers who distribute the produce in them to local families. Also ,Thank you both for your amazing wisdom and enrichng our lives.

I have to say, I had total respect for Dr. Fuhrman before I even watched this video. But after hearing him talk about trusting nature and staying away as far as possible from manmade medicines and vaccines, my respect went up 100X!! My wife and I have been 100% plant based for about a dozen years now, and I agree 100% with everything he said in this video. “The more you do it, the more you get into it!” We feel great, ideal weight, 2 meals a day, work out every other day at a gym. Go skiing every few days with a season pass, and we are in our early 70s. I used to grow sprouts, but this video gave me a pep talk to get back into it. I used to love growing food and composting - appreciate the cycle of life and the earthy smell of compost. Thanks, Dr. Fuhrman, for all you do to spread so many fantastic ideas for the best life we can live.

This is Brilliant Dr. Fuhrman. 4 years ago I was fighting a losing battle with advanced prostate cancer. Two large tumors were cut out and a radical prostatectomy rendered me incontinent & lost of all function. My partner then left me. 3 years later on one meal with still no cancer but only to become sick with serious CVD and debilitating angina that required a stent, which I did not get. Only 8 months ago I switched to living purely off the vegetables in my garden plus mushrooms from the forest and I bought flax & chia seeds to eat. Zero oils, sugars, and nothing from a packet. Basically your nutrition diet. In 7 months of a complete switch from animal & fish (I am a hunter)and I now have my life back. I walk 5 km each day again with no angina, 30 minutes of weights, and sometimes I run but most of all I spend a good deal of my time in my garden using the no dig method to grow my food. Thank you for your wisdom. This video with your daughter was profound.

I really liked this episode!! I think having a young person who looks healthy ask difficult questions, including how to incorporate gardening into apartment living was golden. Please do more of these father-daughter talks. Jenna was a tough interviewer and got some detailed info out of Dr. F that is actionable!!

The animal "waste" is why the soil is so great for our food. Many home farmers rotate the crops with the animal placement every few years for this reason 😍

I love Dr. Furhman's approach to nutrition so much that I must ask: If an obese gardener was pitted against a Nutritarian who lived in a city condo, would you really bet on the gardener to live longer than the Nutritarian? Of course your trick question didn't say "Nutritarian" but used the phrase "plant-based," which, as you've pointed out could mean potato chips, corn fritters and other junk food. Anyway thanks for the great podcast!

What a great conversation - I really enjoyed your passion for growing a bit of your own food and honouring Nature. And all the good advice of growing asparagus, bok choi , a fig tree , comquat tree in the House, sprouts, mictogreens, broccoli seeds, After a week you have microgreens. Sprout your own Greens. And make your own compost. 🎶🍀🎵💚🐸

It’s so much better growing your own micro greens. Most farmers market sell them harvested. They’re dying you have to eat the plants alive. That is the key to health eating plants alive

Fabulous!!! Thank you!!! At a Dr visit for routine check up last week, my Dr told me I am at the age being over 60 for “disease progression” this is so typical! Thank you for your example, videos, books podcasts etc. I don’t think the aim though should be living to 100, rather living healthy, fit, feeling great, disease free👍👍👍👍🙏🙏

Great podcast. Soil is very important! Have you heard of Sadhguru's "Save Soil" campaign? If you're ever in the Mad River Valley (Vermont) stop by these farms Hartshorn's Organic farm, Knoll Farm, Von Trapp farm store. Also the Bear Roots farm market is my favorite place to get organic veggies😀

Grind compost, sprout roots help, add bacteria to " cook" compost to soil, important not to " cook " worms, they need it not to hot, and in soil immediately.
