Good 😌 answer! I will hang on to this one to listen to it again & again! (Just tonight I had 2 chocolate chip 🍪 🍪 cookies. Sure they tasted good for 5 minutes & then left feeling like I didn’t need that, as dairy is disgusting when you think about modern dairy farming:(

I've been eating this way for 14 years. I don't care what others think. Because I know that if I eat crap, I am gonna feel like crap. Feeling good > random people's unqualified opinions.

Also fish is treated with sulfites! Sulfites are often used as preservatives in dried fruits, preserved radish, and dried potato products. Sodium bisulfite is also added to leafy green vegetables in salad bars and elsewhere, to preserve freshness, under names like LeafGreen. It can be used to preserve color of some fruits, such as bananas

So glad that you call out the low fat vegans. It’s like religion and not science based. Esselstyn claims that nuts and seeds cause heart disease. Bonkers.

In the old days the sages recomended at least one good body cleanse a year, in depth. Clearing all out. That was in the good old days. Nowadays there are so many pollutants everywhere that it's at the very least two good cleanses a year.

Your daughter needs to come to Thailand and see at the markets all the grubs, snails, bees, and multiple insects that are sold by the handful to the masses. They also go out to the fields at night and catch rats. It's the little things that provide a lot of the protein. 😊

In defense of McDougall and Esselstyn: McDougall said eating a handful of nuts is fine - unless your trying to LOSE weight then stick to low caloric foods. Esselstyn never addressed weight loss. His main concern has always been protecting the endothelium - so he recommends minimizing fat which can damage the endothelium.

There are some people who still get heart attacks from consuming a plant based diet high in plant sterols and plant stanols, it's called Sitosterolemia and it's more common than people think. Dr. Fred Kummerow knew all about fats, lipids and phytosterols but people who had no Ph.D and no credentials and no qualifications in nutritional biochemistry such as Dr. Atkins, Pritikin, McDougall, Ornish, and Esselstyn had no clue about anything for over half a century and now they don't have the guts to admit they were wrong.
