On this episode of MomDocs, Dr. Carrie Coughlin shares essential tips for applying sunscreen to children. The best way to apply sunscreen is to make sure to fully cover exposed skin from head to toe, including the top of the ears and under straps that can move. Many parents also want to know how long sunscreen lasts once applied. Dr. Coughlin recommends reapplying every 80 minutes-- especially when you’re at the pool.
