Great episode Joey, as you will now know, it’s often cheaper to buy a figure complete, not always, but usually. Unscrupulous people often charge crazy prices for accessories because they know people are desperate to complete their figures and will pay it, I think you did very well on the Leia helmet in the end. Not easy to get the rancor keeper complete either. And the AT AT driver is a favourite of mine anyway, so I think you did really well, enjoying following your journey my friend 👍

I think you are absolutely correct, buying complete is the way to go to save on costs, shipping, and time with having to hunt down loose accessories! Its better for the seller, of course to make extra money from separating items to make sales, as EVERYONE is in need or parts/accessories! I buy cut card figures. This is a guaranteed way to get a minty figure for a loose display. If you pay 20 to 40 more no big deal because the end result is minty! I got a Death Squad Commander on a cut card for $80. This was a 12 back cut card. Looking forward to your next video.

I was actually considering buying a card cut figure to buy then send in for grading early on in my run. Would you do that?

That is a Wonderful Idea. This way It would get a High grade & stay mint. Yes If I found a cut card Amanaman I would do that.

Would you ever by a low graded figure, like a 65 or 70, to crack open for the diplay case if the price was right? It might make for a interesting video.

I don’t know if I would ever buy one like that, but I would send one in to get graded if I felt it would score a 75 or higher. I don’t think I would ever crack open an acrylic though unless it was already cracked or the weapon was dislodged from the casing? Idk, I’d have to ask around about that. Would you?

@@thepadawancollectorofficial I would if it was a mid grade and I wanted it for a display because having been graded I would know there was no reproductions to worrie about. I play MTG and have bought low graded cards to open and play with just to make sure they weren't counterfit.
