I could almost feel the draught in my living room Billy 😃 I've always hated the wind too, it's the most destructive of the elements but at least you were rewarded with your fish. Another vid where I've learned something and thanks for sharing your windy day out👍👍.

You're right about flatties, I had one off Arbroath harbour, managed to deep hook himself on a whole Macky fillet, and a 6/0 hook. The big ones will tackle anything lol.

Hello Billy. I found your channel when I started looking for vids on pendulum casting. I like the honesty of your vids no bs here. First time I’ve seen someone else using ike-jime to dispatch the fish. Much better than repeatedly smashing them over the head. Keep the quality vids coming and tight lines 👍😊

Thank you so much Brother 😁👌 it's a funny upside down, inside out world, we live in, and it makes me crazy sometimes, with all the bs, and it's all just about money 💰 lots more vids coming your way 👍😁👌

Hi Billy great videos .. I like your out look to fishing and different tactics also like the look off the beach were you fish . As for the fish you call codling were I fish on the south east coast they are now called unicorns because you have more chance off seeing one. Keep up the good work and many more videos to come Steve.

Hi Steve, thanks Brother 😊. The beach l was fishing, 10 year's back I would get, on a good night, between 10 and 15 cod most about 3 or 4 lbs. But not any more 😢 and then it just stopped, and the plaice too. Glad you like fishing with me 😁👍

Hi Billy, not unlike your good self I tend to do things my own way if it feels right. My mates think I'm mad but I use my tripods with a single leg forwards towards my baits. In strong winds and tide I've never had a tripod and rods pull over dumping the lot onto the beach, ouch! However I've seen it happen multiple time to mates setting up conventionally with two legs forward. I decided to do some research and used a spring balance on both setup until they pulled over. Hmm, surprise, surprise. It took a third to half as much pressure more to flip the one leg forward setups over. Could I actually be onto something or, are my mates right and I'm just mad?

Hi John, Einstein said to continuously do the same thing and expect different results is the definition of insanity. So maybe your mates are the crazy ones, if their gear is blowing over constantly. Myself I think about these things in aerodynamic properties, if the rods and the tripod are pointing down wind there is less sideways pressure on the tripod. Only the line is pressured by the wind, and it has a very small surface area, so not much pressure at all. So if what you're doing works, then it works. See you on the beach 👍😁👌
