How long do you leave the black to dry before you started sanding?

This whole "battleworn" fad makes me laugh sometimes, such as with this project. How can you call it "realistic" when you chose a red base color? Is that supposed to be the blood of my enemies? lol. If you want an actual "battleworn" finish, you don't need to spend money and time on two layers of DuraCoat. Just rub down the anodizing and let the aluminum show through. No need for a top clear coat. The aluminum will be fine and that's as "realistic" as you can get!
