You are so lovely! I can’t believe I only found your channel yesterday but now I’m binge watching every video as I declutter my house. We just moved across the uk a couple of weeks ago. I did my best to declutter before the move but now I want to let go of even more! I wish I was braver to do it! I definitely find sentimental items the hardest to let go. I always think ‘but what if my kids want this in the future?’ But I’m coming to the conclusion that they may or may not want the item but they definitely want a happy calm mother now. And now is all we really have. Thankyou for this great video. You are such a sweet person and I’m very happy for you that you are expecting again, congratulations! Lots of love xxx

Thank you so much for your kind words Jo Raine!! 🤗 Your comment made my day 💕 I'm so happy that you have been enjoying the videos and getting some motivation! Sentimental Items are so tough! I used to keep EVERYTHING until I finally got tired of moving it all each time. I have really felt empowered by pairing them down to just those things that are most special so that I can actually enjoy them. Yes, being a calm mother is one of the best gifts we can give our children! Thank you the congrats, we are SO excited!! ❤️❤️❤️

The question is, why are we so attached to things? Can’t get rid of clothes, perfumes, shoes... But also I was really sick two years ago, and then i started to buy so many things😩

Yes, Raquel! That's such a great question . . . recently my husband and I just adopted the phrase - "it's just a thing." The other day he accidentally broke my favorite coffee mug, and it really changed my perspective. I didn't get upset, but instead just thought "it's just a thing."
