This episode my peak went from P3 to ASC1 and another thing i want to put out for plat/diamond players is to go out of your way to be weird. In those ranks a lot of players go on autopilot and only think about the most common things that could happen, making counter-play really easy and effective. Each map has hundreds of off-angles and cringe spots that never get used in those ranks, use them and abuse them.

I would personally agree about the over respecting. I've being doing that for as long as I can remember. I just ranked up to plat today and my mind from the beginning was telling me that these are actual plat players and I need to play something passive like kj because I will not be fragging out I was right in that I was bottom fragging but this mentality does not need to stop me from ranking up

Went from gold to diamond in ep7 act3 with like 120~ hours. I think you should push for immortal as that’s the rank that’s actually high elo from gold to diamond I would just fight and over time I got better at fighting so I won more TLDR just fight more and play more

When I was in Silver, I would play a many controllers and Initiators. I definitely think the first fundamental you stated there is very key because I started ranking up after I communicated my util with my team. As well, it is very important to watch streamers at all ranks, in any game in fact, in other games I watch pro people play and see how they play.

The diamond part was so true. I started to think that players knew what they were doing since there are so much content out for educational valorant. Only to find out that not caring and just instalocking reyna was the way for me. I ended up being a very consistent fragger and ended up getting to ascendant.

As a starting bronze and current plat player. Until your gold focus on mechanics and positioning. Once gold learn how to effectively use util. At g3 to hit plat play meta agents and focus on team play. Diamond idk I’m not there yet.

the secret to ranking up is just playing the game enough and communicating with your teammates. its so easy if you play well with your team. im getting carried 90% of the time gameplay wise, barely getting any mvp's while providing my most skilled teammates with support(through abilities and comms). im almost asc1 now.

7:48 Me who's playing 60hz monitor with my whole life but i'm in Ascendant 2. Sadly, i am at my elo hell, i have to upgrade my pc up to 165hz at least. If anyone is curious about how did i climbed till Ascendant although I'm playing in 60hz monitor. Sometimes, I'm exhausting my aim in Range. I play like 1 - 2 hours spending on focusing my aim and movement, once i'm done. I just play Unrated for like 6 - 8 matches to push over the limits of my exhaustion. When i'm really tired, it's time to sleep. By tomorrow, I gained muscle memory, the only warm up I do is 3 - 4 deathmatches then it's time to rank. At this point, there's a possibility that you'll have more consistent in focus, good luck!

Honestly, ranking up is very tough when you dont have friends. I seriously get matched with the really bad teammates. In my last match, i had 29 kills and my teammates had 24 kills COMBINED :( We lost by 10-13

if you consistently frag out ALL THE TIME but still arent ranking up, chances are you arent getting impact kills. impact kills are kills that make or break a round, such as killing the KJ holding site, or killing the jett holding down main with an op. If you find yourself just getting kills wherever and whenever, start thinking about how you can be more impactful to your teammates

I am a Silver Reyna Main, and have insane aim for Silver. Like I can easily frag above Plats and sometimes Dias in other gamemodes and have consistent 35-50% headshots. My average Combat Score is at least 250 every game, but my average damage per round and my KAST are low (bottom 60%). How can I fix that and rank up to plat even with teammates that are way worse than me? My Gamesense is decent as well and im trying to communicate as much as I can. Im hoping I can get ranked in as Plat next Episode and then play active again.

if your ACS is >250, your ADR should not be that low also that low KAST score probably indicates you aren’t playing off your teammates that well

144 hz is good but not a requirement, sure it helps in aiming but valo is more of a game of anticipation than pure aim, I climbed to asc 3 76rr on 60 hz and still i don't think 60hz was my limiting factor

Not gonna lie if I have only an hour to play I’m definitely gonna spend a third of that in deathmatch raging and the stupid respawns, destroying my mental. Take your time to aim is great if you have good reaction time but you don’t hit a shot you don’t take so I’d rather shoot a bit faster then waiting for the enemy to hit me in the dome.

all these tips are okay but when I play I get one tapped 90% of gunfights, or I even cant see my opponents and I just die..... They just run out of a corner and one tap me in 0.01 sec... but when I spectate my teammates then opponents just miss all shots and I am looking and I dont believe...... the way i personally got out of plat was to assess situation and taking control, i would ask teammates why they think this isn’t working and how we can counter. it’s always good to have the mindset of “i have to carry this game.” if you are struggling with your mental, turn of scoreboard and mute enemy chat.
