Always helpful... 1. I didn't know where to get a T Money until after I took a cab to the hotel from the airport... but with luggage it was probably best to take a taxi anyway. I bought mine at the convience store right next to my hotel and the employee was really nice about it and even made sure I added money to it right there at the shop. I still have my T Money card in my wallet since it has probably like $20 on it. 2. Regular taxis are already really nice... don't pay for the more expensive ones. Also, some places are hard to get a taxi at late hours, so if you're planning on leaving a place late make sure it's within walking distance to the train station or your hotel JUST IN CASE. 3. Didn't use a VPN, but that's mostly because I wasn't using my computer much... but it's definitely a good thing especially if you're doing business in another country. 4. That's crazy... didn't know this was a thing. Luckily, Danny's wine bar let me in even tho I was alone. 5. Can confirm that trash cans are rare unless you're in an area specifically designed around tourism. 9. WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME THIS! You were keeping this all to yourself.... rude!

This is really great Dan, thanks!! I especially loved the late night snack video 😁 what a great tip. Plus i think it’s nice stores do that to save foods instead of just throwing them away. Also it’s nice if maybe you’re on a budget whether a resident or a tourist you could benefit from that. The money card that was also very useful as a person who has travelled its good to know these things. When we travelled to England, France and Italy we bought a Euro Pass for the train it saved us a lot. And i believe England had something for their underground, I’m thinking most places you can buy passes for transportation. If I’m ever fortunate enough to travel to Korea i will watch this again as well as your other video because you had other information in that one. Thanks great video. Not sure where you’re travelling next but i look forward to it 😁. Have a great day or evening time zones are not my specialty.

Your videos on „How to…“ in Korea are always enjoyable, very useful, and just fun to watch! Thank you for making them, Danny! 👏🙏😊 Love your hoodie and your smiles extra in this one. 🥰 Your Aura does stand out, that`s just who you are and how it is, just stating facts. 😉😁 I personally find it great that stores in Korea are open until very late, especially the 24h ones. Did I get it right that there are enough stores open 24h?😅 Because here in Austria you`re practically screwed from a certain hour on, weekdays mostly around 8pm, Saturdays even earlier around 6pm AND also Sundays closed all day. 😂

Thx a lot…so helpful…Talking about tips number 9 and 10, I think it’s similar to those in Japan…I mean, while traveling to Japan, I went to the big supermarkets there, such as Ito Yokado, Takashimaya, Sogo, they would give us certain discounts on Deli sections on certain time at night. N also, the Daiso thing, yeah, that’s one of my favorite shops while visiting Japan…so cheap n convenient…even here in Indonesia, where I’m living, I used to go to Daiso, too. N next to Daiso, there’s always Japanese grocery store called Papaya, that also gives certain discounts on Deli section at certain time at night…hmm, so interesting…new things to learn, I guess…

In Korea, optical shops are very affordable, fast, and accurate. Even without any preparation, you can purchase eyeglasses that you love in every aspect at a very reasonable price within 20 minutes by simply going to an optical shop. And it's also a good idea to do a little research in advance about dental or medical treatments. Dental clinics and hospitals in Korea are known for being both affordable and highly skilled.

Luckily when I went to Seoul, all of the restaurants I went to did allow me to dine alone. I absolutely do not know anyone in Seoul so it would have been a problem otherwise. Although I guess in Seoul there are so many restaurants and finding another restaurant will not be a problem. I also used Naver Map and it really was good especially for finding out which train or bus to use from point A to B. But its usage is a bit difficult if one doesn‘t know any Korean. I fortunately know some Korean so it was okay. The supermarket tip will be helpful when I go visit Korea again! Cheers!
